They barely touched the LNs (the vast majority of the show was anime-original), so they have plenty to work with. They may have to work the anime-only characters into the story if they do, for obvious reasons, but I assume that's not too difficult.

There was a sort of sneak peek at the end of the last Tamako Market episode, where Yuuta pinched Rika's cheeks for about 20 seconds.

Finally got around to watching, i quite enjoyed it...then the ending came along....fuck. I almost turned off in the second half of the last episode as the character's regressed back into there former selves, the cheese didn't help either....i actually cringed, way to cheesy.
