Well, now that the main characters have been introduced, we can look forward to the romantic side of this show to come into focus now. I can't wait to see Rikka and Yuuta's relationship take form.

Episode 5.

The slippery slope has started, my guess it won't be that long before we see a 100% Dark Flame Master. On the plus he can easily build up the relationship by simply acting like that every now and then.

I'm not sure if Yuuta will totally revert back. He knows that just a little bit will keep Rikka's attention for long enough to get her motivated for real-life duties, like taking on a math test. Too much would probably prevent her from ever returning back to her real self.

Still, it was nice of him to bring out his old self to please her. Her reaction was priceless, not to mention heart-warming. On the flip side, now he'll never get her off his back, though is not necessarily a bad thing.

Signs are there that Shinka's gentle, friendly side is her true self, but that her past haunts her so much, she becomes agitated whenever Sanae (or any other person with the Syndrome) bothers her with her antics. In the long run, these two will become very good friends, methinks. The last Lite episode brings that point home even more.

I wonder why they demolished the house just to sell the lot. . . its a complete waste of money

I loled at the sun-burn marks they did on each other. . .

and I was getting a lil desperate screaming in my head:
"YUUTA! FUCKING HUG HER AND LET HER CRY IN YOUR ARMS  FFS!"

Apparently, only Shinka can see the love blossoming between Yuuta ad Rikka, further implying that she herself has no interest in him. Isshiki is totally focused on Kumin, though it'll take considerable effort on his part to make her fall for him, if that's even possible. And maybe Shinka herself wants some action as well, and likes him more than she's letting on (making it a possibility that she wrote him that love letter). of course, whrther she'd actually like him for who he is, or merely use him as a tool to keep up her 'good girl' reputation is up for debate.

So, the death of her father, and her mother abandoning her and her sister is why Rikka acts the way she does. That was quite a heart-wrenching revelation there. I still wonder why Touka didn't want her to visit her old (now gone) house. If she wants her sister to accept reality, why is so fervent on keeping it from her, knowing that it fuels her escapism?

I liked how we got some glimpses of Rikka's true self throughout the episode, especially later on.

I wonder why Touka didn't tell Yuuta the reason Rikka couldn't visit her old home, because she did talk with him after the first attempt of Rikka going there.

But I'm really liking this series and I liked it that they showed more about Rikka's true self.

I guess she was afraid he'd tell Rikka if he knew. Touka probably didn't want Rikka to know that their old house was demolished (maybe because she feared it would make Rikka's delusions even worse, to the point where she might had to be admitted to a mental hospital for her own good).

Something tells me that Rikka will have even greater trust issues regarding Touka now, and that this is why she wanted Yuuta to join them for their summer vacation.

Indeed. Though I also like how Yuuta needs to use his alter ego to convince Rikka of his good intentions.

Shinka is turning out to be very likable character. I had my doubts about her at first, especially given her violent attitude towards Sanae (but who's shown to pretty much ask for it all the time), but her playing Cupid for Yuuta and Rikka without showing any kind of jealousy towards them, which might have indicated that she likes him as well, is quite refreshing to see, given how she wants to be seen as the perfect girl and seemed to be the perfect Love Interest for Yuuta back then. Heck, she even supports Makoto x Kumin, even though Kumin is seriously clueless about Makoto's affection towards her.

However, I do think it'll still take a while before Yuuta and Rikka truly confess their love for each other. He may have noticed he likes her as well, but the fact that she is still not 100% sane (or at least, sane enough to seriously date him) probably makes him a bit hesitant. Then again, the latest near-accident involving Rikka may just be what she needs to snap out of it and face the cold, hard truth.

I'm so excited about the ending to this. I think it's gonna turn out well. Rikka is so cute about her feelings.

The episode was funny as hell with all the violence. Especially when Yuuta's friend rested his head on his shoulder.

Other than the very misplaced ED song (cutting right into a very heart-felt song by Rikka), this episode was golden. Rikka confessing first was cute enough, but Yuuta topped it when he used his alter ego to do his confession for him.

Isshiki keeps pushing with Kumin, with no luck so far. I hope he doesn't give up and keeps on trying, especially since I don't think trying his luck with Shinka would work all that well (though then again, we never did learn who wrote him that love letter).

The moment Touka appeared, I knew she was going to leave. I first thought she might take Rikka with her, or that she would ask Yuuta to take her in, but I didn't expect her mother to come into play again, especially since she immediately took out her frustration on Shinka.

And then there was the Sanae x Rikka moment. Seems the former got a very different idea about what Rikka wanted from her. I wonder if Sanae has lesbian tendencies.
