The passage is effectively blocked with junk so it's not possible to get through.

well, i just thought that maybe the blocked passage is an illusion (or reflection) based on Oreki reaction after hearing Chitanda shout out "Mangekyo"...

and about Hyouka, how many episode planned on this show?
hope that it will long though... (click to show/hide)26 Ep, or maybe like Detective Conan-which is unlikely

Bob2004:
21 episodes, according to MAL.

Personally, I think it was probably this mysterious seventh person who was the murderer, but that does seem a bit too obvious, so we shall see. Also, drunk Chitanda was amazing.

Garret02:
The doors might have not even been locked. Assuming the guy who opened all the doors to find the victim is the culprit he could go "Yeashhh, these doors are totally locked. You need to go get the master key and give it to me so I personally can open them". Though it wasn't clear who unlocked the doors and if that were the case then severed hand and a rope would not play a great part in it so I don't think so.

Havoc10K:
There is still the possibility that the guy was attacked before opening the door or while closing them, which would explain why the key was by the chopped hand and not like many people do, in the pocket.

And yeah, Tipsy Chitanda was fun :)

GoGeTa006:
Damn I was hoping oreki would escort Chitanda to her house. . .that would've been EEPIIICC!!

and I was hoping chitanda would be all clingy once she was drunk (when she went to see the script, I was hoping she would cling on to oreki and be all lovey dovey and BOOM! RIGHT IN THE KISSER)

anyways, I'm still hoping for some romantic development there. . .

in regards to the story my theory is:

(click to show/hide)
The small silent girl is the killer, because she was the one that suggested leaving the master key (she wanted to use it), she was the one that seem to "know" everything. She also was the one that went and "got" the master key to open up (in reality she went to return it) and she said "I have a bad feeling about this"  so she knows. . .she knows it well
