Hyouka | Ice-cream [Series]
Tatsujin:
Completely forgot about the OVA (episode 11.5). I had the very crappy version of it and kept it, Coalgirls released it a while back so now I am going to watch it ... I must say, I don't remember much about this series except for the fact of what the title is all about.
Cannot resist KyoAni's animations. <3!!
Edit -- wtf is this! First five minutes of this episode and they still haven't showed his sister's face. Omg this is killing me, and she's a little shorter than him and ... filled! Damn it, KyoAni1!!!
ThePlaneJet:
This was a good anime. I liked the Jumongi mystery best. The was he solved it was so random like I didn't expect any of it. Is the manga still ongoing? I wanna see a season 2 haha.
Shohei-kun:
This is up there as one of the most adorable shows I have ever seen. I had serious issues with the drama portions, but otherwise I enjoyed the series from start to end.

I was wondering if anyone, besides me, has tried to see if there are actual locations for this fictional town. I looked up the Wiki for this show, and found that Takayama is the actual city for Kamiyama in the series. So I was wondering if Chitanda's house was a real house somewhere in that vicinity. Mainly because I want to investigate the architecture more than the one or two brief screen shots we got. I think that housing style and centrally located compose an oxymoron if used in the same sentence.
This is the second time through the series for me, and this second time I noticed the music more than the first time. We start with Vivaldi's Spring from his Four Seasons and then we're down to some guy with his keyboard by the latter episodes. They run out of money for the music, eh?
I still liked very much Oreki's progression of his feelings toward Chitanda. (click to show/hide)We see how even he recognizes his own powerlessness to Chitanda's curiosity, because her eyes do something to him. And we realize very early on that he does like her, but is not in love with her, and would not burden her with his own feelings for her. Not, that is, until the very last episode, and even then to where the show is almost over, does he come to a point that he is going to do every damn thing he can to be with her. I think it was when she was walking under the cherry tree in bloom that he fell in love with her. She was facing away from him then. But later when that same cherry tree is background to her, does she become something more, something he cannot do without. But now I wonder if she will ever love him as he is now in love with her. She will be happy, but as deeply in love... I don't know.
Do you go through the progressions when making your determinations, like that, or do you go through them so fast, you don't realize tha tyou are skipping steps?
