Actually, the Powerpuff Girls was reasonably intelligent - as a parody of old-school Sci-Fi and superhero cartoons - it's references and humour were fairly subtle and often beyond the grasp of the target audience.. All of which was lost in the anime version.

What do you mean, fairly subtle?

theres an anime version of PPG?

Fairly subtle if you happen to think PPG was for lil' girls. Though even still, there are more skillfully hidden references available for a keen observer, it's a treasure trove of pop-culture.

Hanna-Barbera Productions are always like that, though whether I find it entertaining is another issue altogether. I seem to recall enjoying Dexter's Lab quite a bit, but I was always iffy about the PPGs because they're often quite dry.

I will never be able to forget Flim and Flam. Even though it is a one time appearance.

For those interested, I found a remix album of MLP songs using Vocaloid music. Link.

Oh so I went to this anime convention last weekend and there was this entire room full of people watching MLP. I thought to myself "lol what a bunch of dorks" then I went and bought a pair of cat ears and a figma.

the only reason why someone might dislike my little pony is because one has not yet seen it

Seeing Metal Gear Pony was something of a treat.

Ya' gotta wonder if they're just sitting around playing video games and watching old movies, then slapping them together and adding Pinkie Pie for good measure.

Loved that scene. . .It kinda reminded me of Half Life . . .but now that you mentioned indeed MGS . . .totally
