Half-way through 2012 and I've only played Max Payne 3, I Am Alive and Mass Effect 3.

Got a new list after E3.

This time only games I know for certain that have a confirmed 2012 release date.

Oh boy, and this is just for the remainder of 2012.

pirate a few that I can handle on my laptop or my school's (it's a bit stronger). Buy a few I know I'll want to play for a while on PS3/PC, and then wait till I can loan the rest from libraries around Denmark.

Maybe Dishonored and FarCry 3. Haven't played many games from this year apart from Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3, the former was a disappointment imo and the latter is great. Definitely playing Dark Souls when it comes out on PC in August.

Guild Wars 2 - Definitely.
The Secret World - Will most likely test it for a month.
Planetside 2 - Definitely if it comes out this year.

Can't think of anything else.

Boycotting Ubisoft, Blizzard and Capcom so nothing by them.

Ubisoft for their always-on-DRM (haven't bought an Ubisoft game since... hell, I don't even remember). I am not too up-to-date with their current DRM though.

Same for Blizzard. Internet connection for singleplayer (which is how I've always played Diablo)? No. I've been on Blizzard boycott ever since Starcraft 2.

Capcom for their Disk Locked Content shenanigans (and well, I really don't tend to buy Capcom games in general anyway).

I'm not playing D3 either but if I wasn't living away from home with this shitty laptop, that's what I'd be playing.

I'm not playing it either. But that's mostly because the pirated version needs a server emulator and I'm too much of a bastard to buy the game, I also never played the first two.

Why older games ?
Because new ones don't give anything but rotten candy that looks edible. Seriously, old games are the shit now.

I'm going to really learn how to play Go this year. I mean it this time. I know the rules and such, but I'm mostly playing by intuition at this point. I feel I can do better.

I'll be playing the first Diablo again as well -- or rather I'm doing so presently. Great creepy atmosphere, and I adore the music.
