New Year Resolutions not kept
« on: January 04, 2012, 11:39:29 PM »
The funniest part about New Year resolutions.  Who's already broken one or a few of them?  Cigarettes a drinking here.  Haha

Nope, mine was to do something, not to stop doing something.  But my work has only started, and I've got a long way to go to reach my goal.

Lol, no kidding; that was Garret02.  My resolution is somewhat more realistic!

Ditto, but I never resolved to quit fully anyway, only cut back... but I have yet to do that.

LOL. Right?  "I'm going to quit fapping"  haha, sure you are.  I give it a week.  But now I'm curious to what that goal is.  Care to share?

More realistic than I am.  Good for you.

I fulfilled my resolution to walk to work rather than conceeding to the humiliation that is public transport.  The winter has been relatively light and I only live a scant 1/2 hour away, so it was only moderately unpleasant in 2011.

I think this year I'll resolve to finish my not inconsiderable stock of video games. I'm at least 3/4s done more than a dozen PSX and PS2 games which are just sitting about.

OK, that was harder than I thought.

Funny, I didn't make that resolution, but I didn't break it yet either because for some obscure reason my girlfriend is in heat and even rapes me in my sleep.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Same here XD
First reason, I probably would break them anyway. Second reason, why does it have to be done at new year anyway?

I'm not an asshole yet, so not there.

Still planning on taking what I want to though. Just gotta decide when would be the best time. :P

Quitting stuff is the dumbest. You lose all the time any ways. I just told my friend, "Put it this way. Say that you want to reduce your smoking from 2.5 packs. Tell yourself, you want the money for something else." Literally 3 months later, he was down to 1-2 cigarettes a day. He has never quit them, but hell, 1-2 cigs from 2.5 packs is a hell of a lot better not just health wise, but financially speaking too.
This is your home now. So take advantage of everything here, except me.
