Can't say I was a fan of the animation even though it looked more detailed. I prefer how everyone looked in the tv series. It also seemed too short to me.

I see Ga-Rei Zero got a high rating again. Good. Makes me feel better. I gave it high rating after watching it as well, but for the life of me I can not remember a single thing about this anime now >_< I understand no remembering stuff I watched when I fist started watching anime, but not stuff I have seen in last year or so.

Good animation considering when it was made, better then I thought it will be
Good soundtrack (well I did not get one song in the middle, but I did not actually get the scene so it is ok)

Haha, I would mention the same points for this anime. Though the negative points were too much for me and I dropped it midway through first season.

Juuni Kokki (The Twelve Kingdoms) 6.5/10

The First part was moderately action packed, but after that is where the problems start. After the action it gets overly political, starts using entire episodes as re-caps, and just kills you with boring crap. Then you have another section full of action. Then another boring one to finish it out.

They never finish the story of the Black Kirin either.

Haha, I would mention the same points for this anime. Though the negative points were too much for me and I dropped it midway through first season.

Actually I enjoyed it, but I'm the kind of guy who likes Ghost in the Shell, and I started the To Aru series with To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, which was the prequel (that was made after Index...). So I understood the Esper part first giving me context on the rest of the series and characters.

Chagum and Balsa. Even though it wasn't romantic, it was still touching to see. I was a bit saddened at the end though, which yet again gave a post anime depression... But hopefully this won't last as long (I hope)

Anyone else that was as touched as I was by the ending?

What I didn't like:

The first few episodes took me by storm. I just loved it. But after a few episodes, I didn't feel the same way about it as I did from the start. However, it took me a while but I got back into the mood again after episode 11 I think it was.
Not very much I disliked about this show though. It is a great one and I will recommend it to anyone who still hasn't seen it!!!

Now, on to that friggin Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood that I have been postponing forever now

The villans had hilarious voice acting and dialog

Another one of those "readthemangalollolo lololol" endings
The protagonists weren't very likeable imo
Fights could have been done better

overall, it's a decent series to watch if you want to waste some time.

To the above post. You know a series had good characters with excellent development when you feel depressed after it's done.

There is also Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira
