Natsuiro Kiseki - which just was swapped with updated batch, reminding me to post here.
OKay ... silly school girl fun, coming of age. You can put that down to both Good & Bad depending on your mood.
However, this one is done quite a bit better than most. The humor gets silly and slapstick, but also has some charming depth to it. There's a good "Groundhog Day" arc toward the end, which ties in nicely with all the other themes. The story progresses with decent depth & thought, nice character interaction and development, and a good bit of heart rubbed on it.
The animation and artwork really shine, though. I'm looking forward to having a BluRay of this just so I can vidcap about every third or fourth frame as a wallpaper. The light Jpop soundtrack is fairly decent with a few solid highlights, even if it's not outstanding for the most part.
On the downside, the fundamental premise (a wishing stone that can grant some amazingingly powerful wishes) is not exploited nearly to its fullest. If a group of fairly talented & intelligent kids (like our main protagonists) really did have access to something like that for an entire summer, it is entirely unrealistic that they wouldn't come up with vastly more creative ways to abuse such a power.
Overall I give 6.5 or 7 for 10, with the artwork and general feel-good carrying a premise that had a lot more potential than the writers managed to pull off. This could have been a full order of magnitude more clever, and it really feels that way by the time the final episode credits roll.

Yah. Pretty much agree. The first season I'd give somewhere around a 6 or 7 for 10, but the following seasons struggle to maintain a 5, with individual episodes dipping into the 3 range. The unending stream of tit jokes got more than tiresome halfway through the 2nd season, then they doubled-down and tripled down on them as the finale approached. Pretty pathetic and uninspired. I've told several friends to just stop at the end of Season 2 & pretend that's all there is. ]
