Rate the latest Anime you watched.

+ High-paced, good action.
+ Interesting, non-generic characters.
+ Good concept.
- Plot was ignored/forgotten.
- Kind of dragged on during the second half.

Could have been great if they didn't constantly go off on tangents and just stuck to the main story.

+ Gorgeous animation!
+ Strong music/singing.
- Less singing than K-ON!
- Boring plot.

I watched this in hopes it'd have a good story with lots of great musical performances... but it was lacking in both areas. Even with it only being 13 episodes, I struggled to get through this. The animation was wasted on this series.

+as expected, the soundtrack is excellent
+Nodame is one of the most entertaining characters in anime
+Ayako Kawasumi is brilliant as the titular Nodame
+great character chemistry: sparks fly, friction, and everything you'd come to expect from a josei series
+lots and lots of charm
+ending is sweet; wraps up loose ends nicely
+art is very reminiscent of Honey and Clover
-heavily focuses on the music aspect; detracts from the plot
-cast is interesting and diverse, but there are too many supporting characters and subplots
-heavy-handed humour; rarely delivers on time
7.5/10

As great as it is however, Nodame Cantibile is ultimately a niche anime.

Did you watch just Nodame Cantabile? or also Nodame Cantabile: Paris-Hen, Nodame Canatabile: Finale. Plus there were a few OVAs.

Yes, but I expect more of the same in the sequels so I will put off on watching them for now.

Paris-hen is best season tbh.
