Jinrui Wa Suita Shimashita 8.5/10

pros:
funny
good characters
unique art style (everything's so bright and vibrantly colored)
the fairies

cons:
might be a bit too weird for some
the lack of clear plot might be a turn off for some
incorrectly ordered episodes (though it only bothered me for a bit in the end.)

Durarara!! 6.5/10

Pros:
-really nice picture to look at
-fun characters
-many different kind of characters that are interesting to watch...to some point
-nice soundtrack
-ending that saves anime (at least did for me)

Cons:
-it took me 3 takes to finish watching this anime, it means 3 times I got to the point of deciding never to finish watching this anime (watched it, just because there was nothing else I wanted to watch...and I hate leaning things half done), up till last few eps my decision was to rate as a 4 or 5 at most, but the ending saved it for me (and I am not a huge fan of happy endings)
-I dislike anime/movies/books/etc where almost everything or everything is known to the viewer and nothing to most or all charceres, its is kind of boring to watch, i Durarara!! did not have that crazy Heiwajima Shizuo character I most likely would have dropped it and never looked back on it.... I just love crazy characters.......

...Men are so necessarily mad that it would be another twist of madness not to be mad...

Shiki - 8 or so. End was ambiguous, probably would have gotten a 9 otherwise. For a 24 episode series it held my attention the entire time, so it was pretty decent.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous 7-8/10

Pros:
entertaining
It was made in such a way that I did not get a feeling that I have seen it before
good animation
good soundtrack, fitting, well opening did annoy me a bit, but not much, so it was good as well
has interesting characters
had a little surprise effect, because I did not think it was actually the husband...well I did hope it was just part or Rokka that acted out looking like her dead husband, it would have been much more fun that way, but one can not have everything, it would how have soooooooo sweet if it would have been how I thought it could be..sweet but not as sweet
perfect lenght - not to much, not to little
does not leave any loose ends (at least I did not see any)
leaves a nice fuzzy feeling after finishing it, itas really nice feeling to have at winter

Cons:
ending was way to sweet and romantic and all good and happy, at least for my liking

...Men are so necessarily mad that it would be another twist of madness not to be mad...

I finished watching Kiba. I can recommend watching it.
The first quarter is a bit slow, but after that character development kicks in and shit gets good.

Run! White Wolf 4/10

Pros:
there was a wolf and I really wanted to watch something about a wolf

Cons:
it seamed that it was made for retards or someone reaaaaaaaaly reeeeaaaaly slow, such huge pauses in speech it was unberable°
oh and they called the wolf White Fang but it had nothing to do with White Fang...beside White Fang was not a pure bread wolf, it was a wolf and dog mix.... phe....

A Letter to Momo 7/10

well it was a nice watch, no pros no cons, its just nice...and I am to lazy to write anything more at the moment

Overman King Gainer 4/10

+Good action.
-Poor Plot Direction.
-No plot completion (The entire time they're traveling to Yapan, and at the end we never get to see the place.)
-No side plot to compensate.
-Annoying main characters. The all whine too much.
-No explanations for anything. How things work, the Overmen, the Overskills, the Silhouette Engines, the City Blocks, nothing.

Seriously, the whole show felt halfhearted like whoever was involved in making it didn't even like it. The entire thing seemed designed just to show off one cool mecha design someone drew.

Oh, and lets not forget the huge case of sudden love syndrome near the end. Characters that had nothing to do with eachother or really poor compatibility pairing off is just sad.

Seinen and Slice of Life cannot describe the same title, because daily life is too boring to be called a plot. Ecchi/fanservice is not plot either.

Mirai Nikki 9/10

Freakin awesome from start till the end. Really. The ending made it even better. You will not feel that you would want to root for a character because of the sympathy you would feel for them.
(click to show/hide)
The main character can be a bit annoying at times, but then again, if I think about it, I would feel the same way as he would if I were in his shoes. He was exceptionally annoying at episode 22 that I just wanted to kill him.

There are only a few anime that made me really really want to watch an episode after another, and Mirai Nikki is one of them.

Argento Soma 7/10

Pros:
Sci-Fi that actually explains a few things.
Unpredictable plot twists.
Finale that actually brings some closure.

Cons:
Main character suffers from being a Jackass.
Everyone's useless until their pet monster shows up.

Everyone compares it to Evangelion because a bunch of aliens keep showing up like EVA's Angels, but it really isn't like Eva. I'd say it's closer to Betterman in that whole "Pet monster saves the day, everyone else is useless." sense, and that it takes a while to understand what the monsters are. Though while those two have religious undertones, Argento Soma sticks to science and romanticized philosophy, often quoting Shakespeare and several ancient Greeks.

I did think that they would do something with the "Soma" metal they developed in the first episode, but that turned out to just be a plot device linking the main character to a memory.
Seinen and Slice of Life cannot describe the same title, because daily life is too boring to be called a plot. Ecchi/fanservice is not plot either.

I'll give this a go.

High School of the Dead

Verdict: 8/10

Pros:

The action sequences were wonderfully choreagreaphed.
The fan service doesn't hold back and is often creative.
The characters are fundamentally solid and mostly relatable until they start Matrix fighting
The falling apart of society was handled well

Cons:

Whilst this is one of the more original zombie stories, it's still overdone
It's about as subtly characterised as a jackhammer.
The characters are good, the way they're expressed is a bit childish
Incomplete, null ending.

But despite that, I would like to see the continuation if there is one. This was a fun show that didn't take itself too seriously but always gave the viewer what they promised, that being copious fan service, blood and guts and zombie cliches given an anime spin. It's brainless entertainment and not exactly as clever as ReAnimator and Evil Dead, but being someone who much prefers their zombie stories camp, High School of the Dead was a pretty fun romp.

Amagami SS+

6/10

Pretty mediocre. At first I liked this series because the romance plots were short, and they were over with quickly, which is refreshing when 99% of the industry drags out romances for the entire show with shy glances and embarrassing encounters (just fuck eachother already! god dammit!). By the second season though, the shallow-ness really becomes apparent and difficult to endure.

The fast paced romance in this series is its best quality, but it's also one of its worst once the novelty begins to wear off, because none of the girls in this series have interesting stories at all due to the small amount of screen time each of them has.

Here's some of the traits the girls in this series have: Multiple personality disorder, self esteem issues, and obsession over weight. Aside from that, there's the typical bimbo with big tits who has her head in the clouds and there's also a shy little girl with a squeaky voice and big tits.

If any of that sounds appealing to you, go ahead and tune in. If you do decide to watch this, don't expect anything particularly unique or memorable.

Sands of Destruction (World Destruction: Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin)  8/10

Pros:
Interesting twist.
Good pacing.
English dub wasn't bad, normally you'd expect that with lesser titles like these.

Cons:
The main plot doesn't seem to make sense.
The characters' decision to follow the misanthropic girl bent on destroying the world doesn't make sense.
Could've used an OVA or something, the end didn't really provide much closure;
(click to show/hide)

All in all, worth a watch. Don't really think its the kind you can love or hate though.

Blade of Immortal 6.5/10

Pros:
Straightforward plot.
Well done action.

Cons:
Incomplete.
No depth.
Mysterious 3rd group that's never identified and doesn't do anything till the final episode.

All in all, it was way too open ended, like it was expecting a 2nd season to be guaranteed. But seeing as it's been 5 years since it aired, and that the manga and novel are finished, I doubt it'll get one.

Planettes - 8/10

The drama that was in this series wasn't cheesy or half-assed it was pulled off really well, and the romances are also pretty good.

My only major gripe are some completely retard-mode characters that the series would've done better without. The only thing they were good for was shouting and being stupid.

I would've rated it 9/10 but those two characters in the debris section really are worthless imo.

It is mostly absent from the original manga. Since it also contains several additional interesting chapters, I recommend you to read it as well.

Majikoi Oh! Samurai Girls 5/10

Pros:
Martial Arts.

Cons:
Nudity used to distract from lack of story in order to fill time.
Weak male lead that all the girls fall in love with.
None of the characters really feel like they developed at all.

I kept hoping there would be something that'd at least get me attached to this anime, but the only thing good about it was the Penis Comedy.

Break Blade 10/10

Pros:
The way things function is actually explained, but there's still a little mystery left to it to keep you interested.
Amazingly well done action.
Beautiful animation (you're seriously doing yourself a disservice if you don't have it in 1080).
Well maintained plot direction.
Nicely developed characters that you can actually connect with.
Internal conflict (both romantic and otherwise).

Cons:
The set of movies end without finishing the complete story, but complete an important section.

I can't help but compare this to Kenpuu Denki Berserk. Both in that it stops during a turning point in the story, and that there's a strange love triangle between 3 friends. Though it's not as f***ed up as Berserk, there's still a bit of blood and insanity.

Tenjou Tenge 7/10

Pros:
Great fights and power illustration.
Sexy stuff without using it to fill time.
Awesome characters.

Cons:
Starts out nice, then turns into an 16 episode explanation of WHY the bad guy is the bad guy, and they already told you the outcome of this stupidly long flashback. And it makes the "bad guys" from earlier look less corrupt (even though they clearly sent the sketchiest of people to turn these new students into cripples)... If they hadn't done this I would've given the series a 9/10.

Chrome Shelled Regios 9/10

Pros:
Great action.
Nicely developed characters.
Interesting plot.
Well done comedy.

Cons:
Relying on that one badass makes other characters seem less important.
Too many Relationship worries.

Watching it made me think, "This would make a really bad-ass video game!", and then I found out it actually has one but it's only a Nintendo DS visual novel...
