Dual Parallel! Trouble Adventures 7/10

Pros:
Funny.
Mecha.
Action.

Cons:
Too much focus on the Harem. Even though they were all nice girls.

It really reminded me too much of Tenchi Muyo, especially when they used the term "Light-hawk Wings."
Seinen and Slice of Life cannot describe the same title, because daily life is too boring to be called a plot. Ecchi/fanservice is not plot either.

Wtf kinda connection is "Other"? I mean, I notice the robot's design is the same... But they really didn't really indicate that is was related it to the Tenchi universe until they made GXP...

Check the Wiki pages for Dual and Tenchi Muyo. Masaki Kajishima (one of the creators of Tenchi) has confirmed that Dual's a sort of alternate retelling, or that Kazuki's an alternate universe's Tenchi.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun
4/5 stars

Pros:
- Hilarious
- Interesting Characters, especially their relationships

Cons:
- Pretty short
- Story is quite predictable

The story is pretty light paced and quite predictable, but its interesting enough for me to finish it in one go..
Recommended to anyone looking for a nice Rom-Com with a simple story and a honest and straightforward main character  ;D

Finally watched Eureka Seven
Score: 7.5/10
Pros:
- Good story
- The characters personalities and relationships fit very well
- Had some nice OPs and EDs

Cons:
- Main characters were somewhat bipolar and changed their actions randomly
- Ending seemed thrown together

I'd say it was worth watching but I feel like its more well known than it deserves.

Another 4/10

Pros:
- Characters design / animation (Hyouka like?)
- Really interesting atmosphere/plot during the first episodes
- Nice ending song

Cons:
- Pretty low opening (here again it's all about me)
- More and more useless bloody scenes as the show goes on
- Worst anime ending i've ever seen

Ridiculous ending, it's not even bad, it's like all the freaking scriptwriters died in an earthquake before they could write the end of the show; Japan sure is a dangerous country.
My list - Truth is a double-edged sword, with no handle.

El Hazard: The Magnificent World, 7/10
El Hazard: The Magnificent World 2, 6/10
El Hazard: The Alternative World 5/10

Pros:
Diva was attractive, but I guess that's partly because she was voiced by Mary E. McGlynn.

Cons:
Ifurita's story was the only one that felt worth while.
Princess Fatora's lecherous Lesbianism pissed me off so much, and she's a total bitch. Especially with her partner Alielle.
Katsuhiko Jinnai was easily the most annoying and pathetic villain I've ever seen.
Really, it just feels like if you just got rid of those 3 characters the show wouldn't piss people off so much.
The continuation past the first OVA series didn't come full circle and complete the plot of getting back to Ifurita and Earth.

Even if you're a Tenchi Muyo-verse fan, I can't recommend watching any part of this other than the original OVA.

FREEDOM 8/10

Pros:
Interesting way to mix Anime and CG.
Great Plot.
Interesting characters.
Real Science.

Cons:
Shallow character development. (Don't they have parents?)
Voice sync is a bit off even on the Japanese version. (Could just be the version I got, but the effects audio was timed right so...)

It really brings me back to all the Astronaut movies from the 90s and early Millennium.

Chrome Shelled Regios 8/10

Mainly same reasons of the previous review. That was my second watch, as good as I remembered it.

The really irritating part is the clearly unfinished story on dozens of unanswered questions. As someone who doesn't enjoy Manga all that much (in fact never read one), this is the story of my anime life lol..

Perhaps I should pick up the manga of that one; I do remember a feeling of loss there...

Broken Blade, it was about a 7-8. It was a visually stunning masterpiece, but the story was only about average. The end didn't really have any kind of resolution, they were still left in a big war with an unforeseeable outcome.

If nothing else I didn't mind marathoning it, so it gets bonus points for that. Though, the lead was a bit more of a coward than I'd like, even if he did kinda end up mostly overcoming that. It wasn't all that bad... still, he was no Alucard.

That's a really hard standard for any character to live up to. Short of Spike Spiegel, Mugen from Samurai Champloo, and Motoko Kusanagi there really isn't anyone that seems like they can fit.

You left out Revy from Black Lagoon. Actually, there's some others too like the girl from Freezing, and uh... well, a few others. But yeah, it's hard to live up to. I didn't expect it either, but y'know, I'm just saying.

I left out Revy because she's still easily affected by the stuff Rock says about her and loses her cool too easily.
Never watched Freezing because of the art style, I usually go by art style to filter out generic stuff, over-saturation of ecchi that takes away from plot, or if something's got that "Oh, this is a Moe anime..." look to it like every KyoAni piece of shit.

The original Dirty Pair.

Fantastic, easy 9/10. I loved every episode, I wish more shows entertained me as effortlessly.

Finished [C]... It was about a 6-7 I guess. The ending wasn't really phenominal and there seemed to be little time jumps throughout the series where it wasn't really as good as it could have been since so many fights and other cool things I'd like to have seen were just left out and assumed you could just guess the conclusion. I think it probably could have been 24 episodes instead of 11. It was really fast paced.

With that said, I did actually watch all of it in pretty short order and didn't have a problem doing so. It was definitely marathonable. But still, the story just wasn't all that great. They just kinda dropped the ball I think. There could have been something so much more, but the conclusion was just kinda subpar. If it'd had a better ending I think it could have been about an 8. As it was, it was sort of a build up to mediocrity since it didn't really leave you feeling impressed or anything. Still just felt like the end of another episode even if it was definitely seemingly final.

If you just mean main characters that don't act like tools/cowards, they were thoroughly common before Evangelion :P

Violence Jack, Ryo Saeba and the Dirty Pair just to name some awesome examples.
