My latest was actualy a manga i read while i'm waiting my ratio to go up <.<

The manga was Mirai Nikki, it was exactly the kind of manga i was looking and needing to read, psycologycal, butchery, some wicked girl <3, mystery and triller. The perfect mix ^^(if you like those kinds).

It would be cool if anyone suggested more like that so i can read :3
(the best manga of the genre i ever readnot many, only 2 so far xD was 'Goth').

The latest Anime was Another, unlike the most of people, i loved it, i do like bloody things after all, 9/10 from me.
I only find it a Con, the characters are just too young -.-"

Cool, thanks for the tips =) Elfen lied is one of my favorites ever, but the others i haven't seen yet, so i just added Narutaru and Franken Fran to my must watch list ;) although from the reviews i got the impression that Narutaru i should read the manga instead of view the anime, what do you think?

Yes. Anime covers only the first half of the manga. The same goes for Alien 9.

Zombie-Loan

6/10

Pros:
Safe for minors
Zombies
Cute comic drawings
Episodic style story telling, tho it has an ongoing Story all along
Got a starting grabbing effect

Cons:
Boring, if you're used to action, ITS JUST TOO DAMN SLOW!!!
Boring episodes with ill story at some, to the point of "I'm full of this"
Overall history is weak, since there's 13 episodes they could tell so much, but you will see more Story in a 1h20min movie like "Tonari no Totoro" than in this.

(I'm not gonna mention that the serie ends abruptly, and I'm not gonna penalize it because of that)

Anyway, i know some people that wont even notice how slow the serie is, since they are used to that(i guess thats the reason?), so I guess that someone like that would like it and want to watch more, if there where more episodes, so ye, a 6.

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time)

10\10

Pros:
^^
=)
:D
:') (yup that's a tear)
The art\drawing\style
The story
Everything fits perfect.^^
Not overly romanced yet the story does talk about it alot, cause it contrasts so well with the heartbreak theme too.
Good timings (didn't get bored waiting for something to happen).
Even if there was no starting chocking scene, it still catch me since the beginning.
Characters were perfect, each one with it's own personality, tho you never get like "why did he do that, stupid", no, its just perfect =) everything looks natural about them.
I got a tear in my eye, look lol.

Cons:
Why other animes fail so much! why aren't they like this one! after so many years of anime history didnt they learn anything?? <.<

I just finished Claymore and I have mixed feelings about the series.

Overall it is good, however I wasn't satisfied with the way it ended and despite the focus on character development, the characters I honestly wanted to like never made any progressive change to appeal to me. The story was interesting and that was the only reason I continued watching. I initially stopped after the second episode since one of the main characters made me want to rip my hair out, but it got progressively better and more interesting as it went along.

I would rate it 7/10.

Honestly, the one thing I can take from this anime is the name Clare. It was repeated over and over by one of the most annoying characters ever.

Recorder to Randerosu 7/10

Pros:
Funny.
Unique Plot.
Short.

Cons:
A few problems with continuity, like why the police wouldn't think to notify each other that he's only a 5th grader to prevent further misunderstanding.
Even though the episodes are only 3 minutes long, they still each have a minute and a half closing sequence. Poor planning.

The best episode by far was the 3rd episode of the second season. Best laugh I've had in a while.
Seinen and Slice of Life cannot describe the same title, because daily life is too boring to be called a plot. Ecchi/fanservice is not plot either.

Angel beats

5/10

Pros:
Nice opening
Yurippe is Haruhi Suzumiya like
Funny characters (TK)
Strange plot

Cons:
Original plot but still too light
Some chars are funny but some are useless or just boring
Rushed ending

Basic anime imo, nice to watch but i won't rewatch it, or maybe for the band scenes in the early episodes, that was pretty good.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san : 7.75/10

+Comedy is nice and stays fresh through out the season
+Main char (i.e. Nyaruko) is just awesome

One might complain about no serious plot but then again that was not the point in this anime, so not caring about that.

Haha, showdown, you are the first person to see rate Angel Beats that low. But then again to each his own. I personally rate it 8.5/10

Well, I am sure the two series would seem similar, I would say they are still pretty much different from each other. About the abrupt end you mentioned, it's because the manga is still not complete. (But then again, the manga itself went into hiatus for so long most were afraid it would be completely dropped, thankfully it's back again, and most of the released chapters are on BBT).

I am kinda glad they didn't make up some stupid spoilers to end it anyway. I am just hoping for a continuation and the real end, both in anime and manga.

I'm going to change my original rating. I will give it a 9/10 now since I've watched it twice over after finishing the first time. It seems to get better every time I watch it and because of the high rewatchablity, I will rate it much higher than I rated D. Gray-man although you have pointed out why they are different. I wrote my original comment moments after finishing the series without much time to allow myself to take it all in. I apologize for the premature judgement.

Anywho, I am actually reading the manga now (my first manga ever) because I want to see how it continues. I'm surprised at myself since I have not read any manga yet and I am starting now because of this series, so I guess I must have really liked it.

Galatea is the best.

I find it hard to see people talking about Claymore(anime version) and not saying that the ending is horrible. I mean, how can such a cool series 10/10 end up in the last 2 episodes with some dragon ball like monsters trowing kamehamehas around, just wtf 4/10. I had to go read the manga to be myself in peace, I'm so glad i did so.

Glad you like it HeartVivan, and Majo-kun if you read what I had written, the anime series is not at all complete. And well the characters are monsters' so it was not surprising to see them go at each other like that. Well, manga does solve this little problem.

Still I wonder when the second season will come up. I am dying to see it in HD or maybe Ultra HD (well, I can always dream, right?)

I'm on chapter 87 currently. I'm happy that there is a manga to solve my qualms regarding the anime.

Is there going to be a season 2? I mean they ended it differently from how the manga left off that part.

Kore wa zombie desu ka?: 6.5/10

Typical harem show, nothing more, nothing less.

Don't know. Though many have been waiting for it since the first season ended. You will probably know it when they do plan, i.e. if they plan, since I am sure that kinda news will spread like wildfire.

Planetes 7/10

Pros:
Real Science

Cons:
Pacing
Relationship Drama
Forced Pairings

I heard a lot of good things about this one, it did pretty well at first, except I felt someone needed to leave Ai Tanabe out there with the debris because she was always pushing her self righteous sentimental bullshit on everyone and risking their lives in the process. If it were me she would've been fired after the 2nd time she did that crap.

All in all, I liked it until the pacing change, hated it until it was nearly over, then was just content with the closing episodes.

All this bullshit is mostly absent from the original manga.

Watching 1 or 2 episodes before you go to sleep, as i did, may bring you a peaceful night ;)
Oh yeah, especially the last episode... :D

Haibane Renmei

6/10

Pros:
Peaceful atmosphere
Mysterious plot
Looks like a real fable, lots of questions and few answers

Cons:
Almost no opening/ending, i mean really basic stuff, this anime deserved something better imo
Rakka, the main char, is incredibly sweet and pure but sometimes really gaudy
One of those many rushed ending

Overall, i appreciated this anime. I would recommend it to someone who's looking for a bit of mystery and a relaxed atmosphere, it's a Mushishi mood with a little bit of drama. Watching 1 or 2 episodes before you go to sleep, as i did, may bring you a peaceful night ;)

Busou Renkin   6/10

Most characters annoyed me to no end, the characters' story were either weak or poorly exploited. Fights were good, but the awful ending pretty much scrapped the whole thing.
