Summer Wars 7/10


I can't really mention any Pros or Cons on this one. It was a really well done family movie, the animation was good, the English Dub was even good, and in general I really don't have many complaints about it other than obvious scientific/computer nerd logic that was prettymuch passed over in the show.

It was a fun thing to watch, it just didn't satisfy my personal tastes.

What I mean with feeling is the overall mindset the anime can or evokes in your mind when watched.

REVY! What a great show. It has some pretty amazing and memorable characters.

+ Excellent characters, especially "Frau bow". Good development.
+ Engaging story, always kept me wondering.

- Pacing was rather slow.
- For all the build-up, the finale was pretty lame. Was expecting more.

Edit: Initial "gut" rating after watching was too high. Series was good, not great. 8/10.

This is actually my 2nd time watching it.


Pros:
Boobs.

Cons:
Just about everything else.


Seriously though, I completely forgot it has Henshin sequences, and that only served to make it cornier. The characters were all washed out stereotypes that could only hold one personality trait at a time, blind to everything else like they didn't have a thought in their heads.
