Showdown:
Hotarubi no Mori e - 8/10

Pros:
- Pure tale
- Peaceful
- Magic and poetry

Cons:
- Animation and char design are quite simplistic
- The soundtrack is also simplistic BUT it does the job when it's really needed (especially in the end)
- Only 40 mins, but is it really a problem ?

I always find it hard to talk about pros and cons for that kind of movies, it's more than just an anime movie, it's a nice, sweet and sad tale. So the design could have been better, sure, but it's not important at all, because that's not the kind of thing you should expect from Hotarubi no Mori e.

I recommend this, especially if you have an hour to kill before going to bed and wish for a peaceful sleep.

Steins;Gate - 10/10 (Ironic that my last two series got a 10 rating. It is actually really rare for me to like anything to give it a 10. Including this, only three series have gotten a 10.)

I'm going to be totally honest, the show starts SLOW. By slow, I mean that I didn't get interested until episode 8. But I have to say when it finally did pick up, it picked up. I am not breaking this down in positives and negatives. All I have to say is that I am extremely happy everyone's praise of this series was not lost to me.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - 7/10

The ending was a disappointment. I hate one of the main characters intensely and the plot felt like it dragged on forever. The anime starts very strong, however it seems like it accelerated to fast uphill and the only option left was to go down when they reached the top. The first few episodes were extremely enjoyable, but there is this steady decline as the series goes on. However despite these setbacks, the anime as a whole is enjoyable. It's worth watching though you might get as frustrated with it as I did with the characters.


Arata naru Sekai: Mirai-hen - 6/10

It's only a single 30 minute episode. Despite it's actual length, the OVA feels really long. It dragged on a lot to make you feel the intensity of the "post-apocalyptic" world, but it falls flat a lot. Worth the thirty minutes, happy it wasn't longer.

Okami-san and her Seven Companions 7/10

Not really any pros or cons, it's just a short and sweet anime filled with common plot devices and the usual tsundere.

Overall 7.5

Pros

It was a unique story for me, so it gets points for that.
Relatively interesting characters
Good character models

Cons

had no fuckin idea where to start or what order to watch it in.

Story jumps around all over the place (hmm wonder why)

Endless 8

Nothing really gets "resolved" (click to show/hide)besides Nagato's pent up angst in the movie Haruhi's "problems" and the future of the SOS brigade are kind of left up in the air with no resolution.

There was also a gaping logical flaw concerning kyon's speech with Nagato at the end of the movie.

Romance is also left up in the air. Nothing really happens as far as that goes over both seasons and the movie besides the subtle hints. (click to show/hide)Yeah there was that one time where they kissed in the dream, but when they met the next day, Haruhi seemingly dismissed it as such -- a dream.
Overall it kept me entertained, but it wasn't satisfying in the least because it didn't feel like anything actually changed over the course of the entire series.

Showdown:
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia - 5/10

Pros:
- Great designs, animation and color play, some scenes are true pieces of art
- Interesting soundtrack
- Some (yet too few) nice episodes

Cons:
- Bad rhythm
- Tons of useless and boring scenes
- Fanservice to the rescue

This show is for Yuuko and Yuuko only, and your eyes might probably enjoy it, considering she truly shines (truly). But i still wanted to punish it for the storyline and all those incredible useless scenes during the first episodes: 1 for the show + 4 for Yuuko and designs.

ps: you might enjoy the last arc, between the 8th and 11th episode, but is it worth the wait ... dunno, just so you know i dropped it twice.
