Exercise!
« on: January 06, 2012, 09:24:51 PM »
Right then. Every time you do some exercise I want you to post it here to add to the total.
We've got a target of 10,000 sit ups, 10,000 press ups and 200 hours of walking to do between us. (Random figures which may be raised)

Just add how many you've done of whatever on a particular day and add it to the running total.

I'll get started with my sit ups since the first of January.

01/01/12: 20 Sit ups
02/01/12: 20 Sit ups (40 Sit ups total)
03/01/12: 20 Sit ups (60 Sit ups total)
04/01/12: 20 Sit ups (80 Sit ups total)
05/01/12: 20 Sit ups (100 Sit ups total)
06/01/12: 20 Sit ups (120 Sit ups total)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand go from today. (No professional bodybuilders who do stupid amounts of exercise a day please. =_=)

When I read this thread I got up and did 25 sit ups, 25 pushups, 25 squats, 25 calf raises and 1 minute planks in 3 diff positions.
I also ran the usual 2 miles with my dog earlier this morning. I dont keep track of how long it takes, but I would estimate around 15-20 minutes.

I normally do all of that 3 times a day (aside from the run. Only do that once in the morning) Once when I wake up, once throughout the day, and once before bed.

Actually, I dont think im going to keep a running total because its just something I have been doing every day for the last bunch of years. Good luck to the rest of you. Go get in shape, dudes!

When I read this thread, I got up and ate a fucking huge pizza: minus 100 sit ups  :P

What kind of exercise is walking?
It's just normal daily routine =/

If we've got sit ups and press ups (where are push ups?), then there should be running instead of walking.
Tomorrow gonna do some running (about 20-25 minutes).

Yesterday I spent 1 hour.28 minutes.53 seconds walking home from school. (I use the stopwatch counter on my ipod to see how long I take. I hadn't cleared it so I can be exact this time. Feel free to call it 1.5 hours. ;D). I forgot to record today, but generally it is between 1 hour 20 minutes and 1 hour 40 minutes depending on lights and how fastI walk.

No, not really. But seriously, I've been trying to increase my pushups. That's purely it. As much as I could go. Been procrastinating lately because of studying, but before Christmas I hit about 80 (non-consecutive) per day. Allowed me to take on 7 shots in about 2 hours on New years eve without getting sloshed. I was surprised. :)

yea most pushups ive done used to be about 75 in not quite consecutive. It was like do 15 or so then 15 mountain climbers then 15 pushups then mountain climbers rinse and repeat and sometimes throw in jumping jacks
and this was in between sparring sessions of 3 minutes.

I've been trying to achieve 100 consecutive pushups, but I've stopped at 65 :(
From tomorrow I'll try to get moving again. Maybe 100 pushups in about a month or so? ^^

If you push yourself and combine with other methods, a week or two would be accomplishable too.
