Edit: Looking for a anime styled mmorpg with housing

I'm looking for a mmorpg game with manga / anime styled characters and such.. with housing
I don't care if it's p2p or f2p if it just has housing and is fun :3

By housing i mean that you can buy a house and modify it.

I hope that there is such a game out in the tubes..

Maybe you would be interested in P&P Role play? Don't worry, you don't have to go to a local group, nowadays there are groups playing using teamspeak and various clients to set up their player sheets and dice rolls. On a good side, there is literally no limitation on what you can do there.

Not that kind of Roleplay... more like you have a character.. let's say my Character's name is Konata_Izumi (just a example) than i would be Konata_Izumi.. i would play as that character.. not myself.... It's hard to explain.. and i don't have a microphone so i can't use teamspeak

That anime-style etc its pretty hard to find and i doubt there is such a game out there.
But i found World of Warcraft to be pretty cool in RP (of course you must find good RP server) only problem is that there is nothing like buying house because WoW is primary battle game.

perhaps, second life? never played it, but seems to be focused on RP...not anime styled though
Or find an RP server for any of the many anime styled mmos out there, otherwise I'd recommend searching harder, what you want is probably out there somewhere

Konata what you're trying to find is equivalent to the holy grail of online gaming, i have been searching for this for 5 fucking years to no avail.

If you are going for style then there is S4 League, the housing is in Pangya.

:\ They don't really make good online rpg's do they?.. It's always the same.. missons and fighting cute animals.. almost always slimes at first.. I hope we find something of use at some point.

Mah in the meantime try out Senjou no Maou it's the best visual novel i've ever seen.

Try Mabinogi. It's Korean not Japanese but the art style is heavily anime influenced. It has a housing system. Other than that it's a typical mmorpg with perhaps a stronger focus on non-combat play than other mainstream titles. Things like discovery, crafting, social interactions.

To really play a online RPG game than it needs to be English.. or else i don't understand it at all xD

I believe Mabinogi has been US translated for quite a long time now.

There's also Mabinogi Heroes (aka Vindictus), but that definitely wouldn't be what you're looking for.


Personally, I hate Nexon, but that's because I started out with Maplestory as my first MMORPG. You might find this a different experience.

Depending on whats really more important to you, the housing part or anime style.  EverQuest 2 has by far the most addictive housing I've ever experienced.  Sooo many ways to customize your house, and so many housing styles to choose from.

I've spent days upon days, either skillcrafting household items, or mocking items up to look like something larger scale.  Its just way too fun.  And EQ RP servers are usually full of some pretty hardcore rp's.

I think the 2nd Life suggestion there made sense. Though it would take a lot of customization on your part to make it look exactly the way you wanted it (You can either buy anime styled textures/meshes online or make it yourself). A foreign girl I knew kinda 'forced' me to play that game with her a long time ago since there's also plenty of kinky stuff going on in that game. haha.. But just think of it as a 'moddable' MMORPG. (if you're the modding type of person)

But i'm still looking.. On all websites
