You never thought they might be wearing magnetic shoes? And why bother drawing in ropes that will look stupid and fake? Or what if they have something else to use? I'm going to assume they will perform a Flying Dutchman rescue drill sometime in the next few episodes, and you will see how then.

I do think they thought about gravity, and inertia too. How else are schoolgirls going to raise something that looks about as big as the Tokyo Tower?

We're still not in the thick of things.

Lolwut? I think if they were wearing magnetic shoes they'd stick to the hull, not float over it. XD

I get what you are saying though, there might be some kind of safety device that's there, but we can't see it. It's sort of like suspension of disbelief. Anyways, it annoyed me a tiny bit but not nearly enough to ruin the series. The OP makes it look like the schoolgirls will be gone (or at least not getting as much screen time as they are now) later on, so you can look forward to that. I is disappoint...

When does this air again? I only just started watching it because of it's good reviews, so I don't know.

The last episode was just out, so almost a whole week to wait for the next episode to air.

Timing is everything in comedy!

Because HS aren't using CR subs at all ¬¬
HS release as they go, they don't take 3 days, make edits for subs to make them worse, and claim they did it themselves.

I don't think the schoolgirls will be gone, a good lot will probably end up as crew of the Bentenmaru (evidenced by the first episode where they were scanning the girls skills to check for candidates)

A better proof of that would be the OP.

Well, I can't really argue with that. Both groups are pretty dire.

What dire ?
HS only rips lol, they don't even edit anything, HS is a safe bet cuz you can't really hate them unless you are stupid and think they release their own works. Rip>Encode>Release>fu all, that is their way of ninja. Hating them for that is like hating the sun for being where it is.

That's precisely why they're dire.

Think of it this way: Girls are more lucky than anyone else in the galaxy, hence they prevail :)

Save a few exceptions (like Hadena), I think most groups actually improve CR's subs, even if the change is minimal.

Anyway, I do hope the pace kicks up in the next episode, as I find myself getting increasingly bored with this show.

There is a difference between editing a script, and improving it.

Putting aside Hadena (please, just learn to check your spelling and remove the repeating words and put the missing words back in assholes) I compared Commie and Horrible subs, and even though HS only rips and doesn't edit subs, Commie does and if someone is carefully watching will notice that there are spelling errors, and even missing ones. If you are editing a script, at least do it properly, and not hastily, leaving badly tasting mistakes.

I consider the topic on subs over on my part, I just want to continue talk about the show itself from now on.

I have the same reaction. Each episodes starts rolling the credits when I don't expect it.

The build up is killing me!

I was totally taken by surprise when the end credits started rolling. It was not at a normal point where anime starts rolling credits. This was like you take an hour long TV show, but have to stop 1/2 there because you only got a 1/2 hour time slot to air. Which all things considered did as much to generate fan support in me than about anything I have watched in the past couple of years.

I wish I knew if this actually sparks interest in math, science, cryptology,

Yeah, I think that's what gets me as well. Because it always seems to cut out right in the middle of something, I find myself desperately wanting the next episode to come out so I can see what happens next. Much more so than any other show.

It's kind of irritating, but it definitely does work to keep people interested.
