Sorry you feel that way Ace. But I am perfectly happy with skirts in a micro gravity environment! Now if only the fanservice would keep it real! Dammit. lol

Actually the only thing I think is necessary as far as clothing goes would be pockets. The air temperature is completely controlled, so there would be no reason to not be absolutely comfortable, unless you were short on power, and or close or near to a stellar body. And even then 'BBQ rolls' are often enough to moderate the temperature sufficiently.

I hope this is a long running series, as it does not appear to be going anywhere too fast. Which in itself is reminiscent of how space flight currently works. Slowly. Or to put it another way, you know when this show will be on its way off the air, by when the pace of things starts progressing incredibly quickly.

It's a 26ep show.

They could do another 26 episodes like Kenichi did...

4 Pages and 5 eps so far, I'd say this is quite good for BBT base alone, not many shows get 3+ pages while talking about basic stuff happening in the show.

Personally I think this is one of the better shows this season but I need to see more. Just NEED, because this is a really good show so far.

Edit:
Also, the OP song star with her singing like she speaks through a megaphone, almost as if she tells you to prepare to be boarded by cute teenage high schooler pirate :D

Always makes me giggle :)

Edit2:
After ep6
I laughed half the episode, was pretty amusing, almost like I knew it would be :D

I know right ?
She pretty much did what I expected her to do, yet she did it so good.

That other girl, she is getting pissed off for a certain reason, Marika is not a perfect girl, she puts a big amount of effort into things she does. That's why she's so good and makes few mistakes, but it doesn't mean she doesn't allow mistakes.
She understands very well that in space, a mistake can cost life. She's very understanding, she doesn't underestimate situations, in simulator, even though she knows it's a mock practice, she takes it very seriously.

This is why she is so good at what she does. And this is why I like this show, it doesn't show anything that would be like "hmm ok so she does the training and gets to be a pro" no, they even showed that she had to go through all the bureaucracy and is being told how this works.

They don't leave you in the "they know, you don't have to, you will learn as it goes" state.

I like.

I think what pisses our 'propellant' off so much is the fact that our heroine can do anything, without trying very hard. That and she always has a bright and cheerful disposition. So isn't a pessimist as our friend seems to be. That or our friend thinks Marika 'doesn't get it', does not understand the consequences of her actions. When in fact Marika understands perfectly well, she however does not let that rule her life, or her decision making abilities, just like a good leader should.

Well, Marika knows very well the weight of what she does now.

Can't stop laughing at the raid party lol.
Brilliant.

I think they stole the sword fight directly from Raiders of the Lost Ark. BUt it worked, because I in no way expected her to use such deceitful tactics. Now that's what a pirate does! Bang!

That last episode is so cheesy. It seems that the series has chosen to go into direction "we are the good fake pirates that will serve as entertainment and comic relief for the tourists" crap.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

I think you missed the point. It was meant to be cheesy, and it was just a training mission for Marika so obviously it'd be easy. It's actually fairly realistic if you think about it, and I'm glad they did it that way. I'm p. sure that later on, probably in the next episode,  Marika will be put into a more "dire" situation that she will have to pull out of. Just keep watching.

I unintentionally seen the preview as I was listening to the ED song which I also like.
I can say, the next episode should be fairly interesting. I'm hoping to see Marika in some deep shit, but I have no idea about the nature of the problem so I will just ...

DAMN THE OP SONG !!!
STUCK IN THE HEAD !!!

I like this show for its demonstration of leadership. Especially as to the fact that not all leadership skills are learned in books.

I would like to make a few notes as to name choices for the crew. One was spelled something that didn't seem to match what was said, but from the French would spell, and this is going by the sound of the seiyuu's voice speaking the name, not the English written translation, Courier, which would be Runner in English, or Courier, whatever...anyway, it drove me nuts. And has made me forget all the others..even Schnitzer, Schneider, Schnaible, you know...All these names are metaphors. Which for me, increases the value of this show. Even better if I can figure it out! Schnitzle? Pasta!

I love my pirate-themed Sunday mornings ... One Piece and this show just fit perfectly the mood

Defo one of the highlights of this season for me, I hope it keeps it up like this for the whole 26 eps

Oh why not, you have princess swiss cheese. I suppose every name in this show is a reference to something else. At leaset it was Jimmy Doolittle, and not Doctor Doolittle.
