I did like the way they consolidated some events and the first season as a whole was amazing hoping for a second season. (click to show/hide)I could see a season 2 either being extended events and just the imai momka arc or that with a combination of the suwano arc

There is no need for S2 at this point, not saying it wouldn't be nice to see one, but there is no need for it. Maybe an OVA, maybe, but really, no need, everything was said and done.

How so? Seems to me like the amount of content still available through the manga is more then enough for another season if they wanted to make another. The show was very entertaining and the story in general is some what unique. Depending on how well the anime did in Japan of course.
