For me, it's the people until a couple of centuries ago. More free time and not mind-broken with extreme pressure of studies. Bliss.

And of course, the rare Rich + Knowledgeable + Nice person...

Parts of it I admired greatly, parts I laughed at till my sides were almost sore;
other parts I read with absolute sorrow,  because I think them utterly false and grievously mischievous...
Many of your wide conclusions are  based upon assumptions...

You really think those people had it easy? If you weren't working hard you were starving. If I could choose any time period to live, it would be the present.

I envy those to be born in the future, being able to witness things we never have even dreamed of, space travel, etc.
Things that seem amazing to me but I'm unlikely to get to see in my lifetime.

People who can concentrate on studies. Really, since I lack that the most. Otherwise, my results would be much, much better.  :'( :'( :'(

The main reason why peoples concentration fail is because they spend too much time researching useless information, you just have to talk to your savvy classmates on the formula of the studies and what not to overexert yourself on.

I envy people who use their creativity in their work, and are profitable while doing so. Writers, artisans, poets, singers, video game designers - anyone who is given freedom to express themselves creatively and see their expression valued by others. I can attempt creativity of course, but I'm aware that I could never prosper in such a field the way I would rationally require.

i'd chose around 1950-2000 where electronics just started blooming, damn i'd invest my money on those electronics manufacturers.

Meh, handsomeness won't mean much in the long run... Not unless majority of humans stoop low enough to judge much based on it. It's the actions that count... or at least, should.

People born into position of power, influence and wealth. Traditionally nobility and aristocrat class, but also powerful dynasties of the merchant class.

The things I could do to influence the world closer to my image if given that position...

people that doesn't run out of funds, though not necessarily rich. i hate it when i have to save a huge percentage of my money from time to time ._.

I suppose I envy the ancient Greeks to a point.

The thoughts of a time where one could become the master of every field, a time where one could read every single work of literature, a time where there were still countless worlds unexplored just beyond ones doorstep is somewhat exhilarating to me.

However, I would still not wish to trade places with them.
