any way to find an older version of CCCP?

so i went ahead and updated to the latest CCCP to support 10 bit encodes since it seems a lot of stuff is moving towards that. I guess that wasn't such a good idea. Looks like the old computer im using right now doesn't run right with them. Most higher definition videos dont play right at all and get choppy and out of sync badly. I used to use the hali renderer through MPC-HC on this thing, but even just switching it to a default overlay; it still doesn't play a lot of files right. Besides that doesn't look so hot anyway.

Is there a way to get an older version of CCCP? like the last one or something like that? Id like to uninstall and roll it back for now. I guess i'll worry about playing 10 bit encodes later. The problem is i only see the latest on their site

just FYI the systems old. And its what im stuck on since my laptop crapped out. Its an old AMD 64 4000, with a readeon 9800XT. Things only got like a gig of ram in it too. I dont know if theres settings i could try tweaking i never had to mess with them too much. I always just used MPC-HC

I just made a post about changing away from CCCP:

Basically I have a similar system in age & power, maybe even slightly underpowered compared to yours.  Just upgraded to 2 GB DDR 400 RAM from 512 MB, but pretty much only use 400 - 700 MB on a lean WinXP install; often for light web surfing it cruises along at ~250-350.  So, 1 GB should be enough, IF you've dialed back all the unnecessary stuff that might be running.

It's what the CPU can handle.  Plus, I got super lucky and grabbed a very solid video card for this system.  It doesn't help with 10-bit, but does generally help the system perform with a little more snap and it should be taking a bite out of the 8-bit load.

So, give that haruhichan guide a shot.  I was able to set the whole thing up in about an hour, including reading through stuff carefully.

Also, if you really want to go for previous CCCP, I got a heads' up on an archive site for software here:

> Need Help? Ask Here > Torrent/Tracker Issues > old versions of utorrent? where to DL ..?

I looked around it at the time & they had a bunch of stuff ... so try searching out CCCP there.  I expect they probably have it.

Lupin:
1. Do not upgrade CCCP. Uninstall the earlier version first then install the newer version.
2. Try playing around with the video decoder. By default the latest version uses LAV. Try using ffdshow.
3. Try using Overlay Mixer or one of the EVR presets for the output.

+1

If Overlay mixer and EVR don't work, go with Haali Splitter and see how that works.
