Final Fantasy X: Remastered

My thoughts exactly. If this remaster does bring enough sale, they might consider remastering the older series, like VII and VI. Like said throughout the thread it's more expensive and thus more risky to remaster the older version.

I am glad you agree with me on that. Alot of people do not like to agree with me and come out saying they are just lazy. Which might be true to some extent but we are still in a difficult period economically and they cannot afford or risk it that fast. Probably try to pull in some good revenue and just see how everything turns out if they decide to go that route to remaking older games. Only game I have a hard time I cannot see them remaking is IX which I like but cannot see them remaking. To be honest VII has the best chance after that maybe VI then VIII no other Final Fantasy games I see them remaking after those. So start buying Square-Enix games to fund this. Which I do haha. Only series I never bought was Kingdom Hearts. After that I am sure I bought almost all of Square-Enix games.

I bought 1 to 9 and 11 (yes I skipped 10 because I didn't want to buy the PS2 just for FF10). I think I even bought 1-6 twice because I bought one of those collector editions once. But lately I don't have the money to keep up with both the PC AND consoles :(.

IIRC, square-enix released a demo trailer for FF VII on PS3. One of the producer (i don't remember who though) said if they were to ever re-make (or remaster I guess) they would want to do FF VII, but they would require all of their manpower to do that and they were busy enough with FF XIII that they didn't have enough to spare it for FF VII.
Just something that I remembered now that's all. It was around the time PS3 was released and FF XIII was just about to be released (or already was, don't remember).
