Final Fantasy X: Remastered

SilverDash:
I have no problems with FF7 on WinXP. Haven't played a minigame yet but a cpu slower might help. But I suppose you already tried that. I also think that WinXP has a better chance than the higher versions. Alternatively you could perhaps try a vmware machine + windows 95 or something and assign a low processor and ram value to it :P.

Takeshi:
Let's get back on topic. Way too few posts above mine are about the re-mastering of Final Fantasy X. If I don't say it, blubart probably will as he just did the same thing in the ME3 thread.

Havoc10K:
Remastering a game that doesn't need it ...
meh.

Of course die hard fans will love it, but I would prefer S-E stared taking this more seriously and not making FF games look unlike FF games.

Well, Squaresoft became Square-Enix seems to be a popular way to explain why games aren't as good as they used to be, but isn't a lot of the heads of Squaresoft still in Square-Enix? And aren't Final Fantasy games getting better? I mean, from what I hear XIII-2 is a major improvement over XIII. And then we have Final Fantasy Versus XIII which is looking good. I hope we won't need a sequel for that title like XIII to improve its shortcomings. Well, it's still in development so it's plausible to think that the people working on it will take notice to what went wrong with XIII.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was good though, and I think Final Fantasy Type-0 is too although I won't be playing that until it gets a western release.

Havoc10K:
No, FF games are less FF with every title.

Versus is a completely different game than any FF game ever was.
FFXIII/2 are not really ff like as well, problem is I do not feel like playing those games, look at all the ff's before FF7, those had the spirit of FF, now you have NOTHING like Final Fantasy anymore.
