Final Fantasy X: Remastered

Takeshi:
Well, even though they're straying from what is known as Final Fantasy games, they're still good games. Excluding XIII of course, that was just no fun to play.

Havoc10K:
If it doesn't look like Final Fantasy game, it's obviously not a Final Fantasy game.

The last FF Game I can accept is FF9.

Why? Because they have voice actors and no world map? X isn't my favourite but it certainly had most of the JRPG elements that every other Final Fantasy had, and X-2 had even more with the class system.

I expect the franchise to expand and try new things, even if I don't like the result the attempt is worth its weight in gold. In my view XIII was flat not because it diverged from the usual, I would've been perfectly satisfied with the battle system, characters, and plot, if they had the courage to make it a challenge.

Havoc10K:
I don't mind Voice acting, but I did forget about FFX-2, loved that game, not story wise since it was purely for fun, but class system. That's enough to make me going.

Which FF games after FF9 and except FFx-2 had class system ? (FFXII Zodiac don't count)
None as far as I'm aware.

I wish it would come back to how it used to be, new people to FF (from FFx onward) won't even like the old game system, because they don't see the beauty of it.

FF9 didn't have a class system either. The point was the characters were developed to fulfill class roles, Thief, Black Mage, White Mage, Summoner, Ninja/Monk, Knight, and Blue Mage. As opposed to Soldier, Samurai, Summoner/White Mage, Black Mage, Thief/Ninja, Blue Mage/Dragoon, and Green Mage/Archer in 10. They just didn't use the signature nostalgic character designs in X.

8 and 7 didn't even really have class-differences, just different limit breaks. Though some characters were stronger in certain elements than others based on their base stats.

X still had every other element of a FF except the world map, which I'm not especially attached to.
