as far as i remember, arent mediamonkey have ability/feature to go online?

and about wmp, im not using it since i need only mp3 player

wmp works great as a mp3 player, just use it in it's skin mode, though WMP12 has a "now playing" mode thats really compact and neat but you got to shrink it to my example's size XD.

If you use WMP so much, can you tell of an easy way to stop it going online? No, ticking everything in that regards in its options isn't going to cut it. Only way I've managed that feat is block every single domain it tries to connect to in the hosts file...

Reason I won't allow it online is (or at least was previously) wmp's nasty habit of sometimes changing/adding metatags in files, not necessarily with consent... I still don't trust my music files with it unless they are in read-only mode.
