Please explain to me why One Piece is worth picking up cause im interested

You know now that you mentioned the moves being the same all the time, I have to agree. Mind you, I only watched Naruto (not Shippuden) but seeing Getsuga Tenshou and Kage Bunshin no Jutsu for the billionth time gets a little old... I am planning to watch Shippuden some time so hopefully it gets better.

Shippuden gets better, it's still filled with oh so many awful fillers but like Bleach it still has its very good moments.

Just use the seek through methods when an episodes yells "FILLER ALERT!". Believe me you won't miss anything, both Naruto and Bleach have this unique thing where fillers are worthlessly useless to the story line.

Actually, there is one Shippuuden filler that I know of that is actually relevant to the plot, or at least people say it's a filler. The Sanbi arc and Rokubi arc, I think. A.K.A. giant turtle and bubble guy.

Something else I like to add is that in the beginning, I couldn't wait for the long fights to end to continue on with the story.  But later the fights became more epic, like when Luffy started to use Gear Second:

Well I am officially caught up with One Piece, ive updated my first post.

Thank You to everyone who helped convince me to pick up One Piece. I am fortunate that I have not missed out on such a superb shounen.


That aside, does anyone have or know of any cool funny parody videos or flash or just anything funny One Piece related.

Also why is it so difficuly to find artwork for One Piece like wallpapers doesnt seem to be very many compared to Naruto.

I DONT plan to pick up the manga but can someone tell me SPOILER FREE how much farther is the manga then the anime.

ALSO I am a bit dumbfounded I am not sure why maybe you can explain to me; 2-3 years ago maybe a friend spoiled a particular moment

To be honest I was thinking about picking Bleach back up, I'd stopped at like season 7 or 8 a few years ago. But I came across an awesome AMV of One Piece and decided to pick this up instead. It's sad that I had watched a few episodes as a kid and never got into One Piece. It probably has a few spoilers but it covers a lot of episodes so you will probably forget most of this AMV by the time you get there.

@prideless  Think that the anime is 9x% made after the manga. All manga spoilers are anime spoilers . There are 55-60 manga chapters/year and 40-50 anime episodes. You have +one year from the  50 episodes and almost 2 other years from the manga versus anime difference. It makes almost 3 years . Depending of the moment he said it to you it might be more.
