Accents are cool. People say I sound like a russian who learned english in Germany. Which is most likely caused by the fact I had to learn three languages as a very small kid. Strangely enough, neither of those were russion or german.

PS. Australians are the best. You don't know what fun is, untill you spend an evening by talking with typical australian.

There is nothing cool, suave, or particularly interesting about an Anglo-Chinese accent. At least Southern accents in United States allow for a great deal of room when making sexual insinuations.

Maybe it's because I really don't hear it any more unless it's FOB. I grew up in a mostly Asian school.

Some of my friends moved to Canada the year they got into high school though, so there's that.

Made me think of Sookie Stackhouse;) Too bad the TV series cant compare to the books, and Anna Paquin will never ever fit to the image I had mentally of the hot waitress Sookie, after I read the books.

So I am officially single as of yesterday. No, there is no sobbing Semnae-ish broken heart story behind it. On the contrary it was something as simple as the fact that my gf moved back to her home country where she apparently has higher chance to get a job. Since we both know that long distance relationships don't work, we know that it is as good as over. She is still a good friend and a person I care about.

Hey, this is probably one of the best ways to break up, so if you had a break up yourself, there is a good chance I am still luckier than you.

Oh boy so much to do... I am in the middle of a huge clean up of now my apartment, converting the second living room that was being used by my gf into a kick ass guest room where me and my friends can chill. So much to do, I may be less active here for a few weeks.
