File share service?
« on: February 28, 2012, 12:53:36 AM »
I usually use them so i can share video samples to other mobile users so i can get an idea of what their devices can support before i buy it. 8)

Today, i'm trying to find out if the 10bit samples i have here will work on the transformer prime but rapidshares upload function seems to be broken. My other file share is megaupload and we all know what happened to that one.

Can anybody suggest another file share service that allows 200MB file uploads? The file i'm trying to upload now is a 160MB 10bit 4minute OP. :-\

Have you tried XDCC? Seems like subbing groups use that site a lot these days. I would also suggest Mediafire, but I'm not sure of its file size limitations.

I can only really suggest sites, because I don't have any experience with them.

You could try waiting out on RapidShare. They're supposedly protected by European courts, so any issues you have with them should, intuitively, be temporary.

Dropbox or Mediafire. If those fail, Rapidshare.

Thanks, I'm going to try mediators. I'm not too keen on dropbox since it's going to be shared with strangers. I'll look into minus afterwards.

 :)

So it was intentional? I couldn't find the upload button when I went to there and I thought it was somesort of glitch. The upload panel was there except a big yellow box where I think the upload button should be is blank.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll post what I find in one of the tablet threads if I finally a good tablet. 10bit is giving my transformer a hard time so I figured ill sell this and get a different one.. Hopefully, tegra3 can handle 10bit.

No, I'm saying it should be unintentional. It could also be your browser, you know?

I'd anxiously recommend mediafire. I had an account with some 500+ albums on it that got locked recently. Still, it lasted a good 3 1/2 years...

BayFiles
Although it haves a pretty long wait time before downloading (5 mins), it allows 5GB files and it haves a very respectable download speed (I've reached 300/400 kB/s on some downloads).
