Problem with hacker on XBOX Live

FlyinPenguin:
So, I hate hacking and cheating in anyway, shape, or form. If you can't earn a reward legitimately, you don't deserve it. Period. I don't care how "hard" the game is.

Apparently, not everyone feels this way. I ran into someone the other day playing a certain 360 game, who feels hacking is justified. I enter a game with them and It quickly became apparent they were hacking. I start questioning their methods and next thing I know they sabotage the game. I immediately report them for hacking.  Problem is, it did no good! A few days later and I still keep running into him. Now, every time I end up in a game with him my console completely locks up a split second before we win the game or as soon as I start to to argue with him and tell him I'm reporting him (again).

I'm not going to mention the game or person's SN here because they are quite malicious and I don't want to compromise my other accounts. If you PM me, I might tell you though.

Anyway, I have reported him several times now but nothing has happened. I'm just wondering if calling customer support will yield better results. They are closed for another few hours yet so I can't call them now. I'm just really getting pissed off at this situation. This person is clearly hacking and getting away with it. I guess I'm just venting, but also I would like to know if anyone has experience in this area? Will calling XBOX live support help rectify the situation or should I expect this to continue?

Well you realize that the person you're reporting isnt just going to be banned the second they get a report right...they probably have a huge list of reports to go through and investigate so it'll probably take a while before he gets banned, tbh I doubt calling them would do anything productive.

Also, you must be playing a pretty unpopular game to regularly run into 1 person...

TMRNetShark:
Hacking? On XBL? Noooo.... over here on the PS3, our entire network gets hacked and account info jacked!

(Totally meant to rhyme)

Hadouken:
The guy is probably laughing his ass off at the fact you're taking this seriously.

AceHigh:
There are several reasons for hacking. For example APB was being hacked a lot because many players tried to destroy the game because they hated to company "Gamers First". While I don't hack myself, I am kind of glad of all the cheating on BF3, because it is punishing the idiot developers who made a crappy network code where servers actually trust the clients. Now their game takes a reputation hit and they deserve every bit of it. Too bad the players are also inconvenienced by this though.

Other players cheat as a way of trolling, because it's fun to piss off people like you. Those are usually the obvious ones.

Then you have people who cheat for the stats, I feel nothing but pity for anyone with so little self-respect for themselves.

Oh, and I don't give a damn about people cheating in single player games, and I guess you don't care about those cheaters either, but forgot to exclude them from you 0 tolerance of cheaters principle.
