If you think about his skill set he should have no def at all. So any attacks to him will be more than someone else with some def. He took 3-4 hits from a boss on his own. Along side taking the damage from blocking with his weapons. Since he has no shield or def stats I can see that being why his HP was so low.

Do please remember that his HP count is hilariously high, his HP regen is also insanely high.

A really lousy episode, took out too much of awesome from Kirito. Before he was like the "just so damn good - deal with it" guy, now he's the "has an unfair advantage - hax" guy.

I thought it was the chick who died in the treasure chest trap room(can't remember her name)

You know, the one who was in the guild kirito joined.

I wasn't really paying much attention at that part and it was over before I knew it... I'll take a second look when I'm bored enough to do it.

His sister.

Except she had different coloured hair. Based at least on the one shot of his sister there's been so far, so it's not impossible that it's just the light, but it's different enough to be odd. And the dead girl seems just as likely to be honest.

And yes, I was bored enough to check. This show's got a lot better since the first episode, now there isn't really any focus on how they got stuck in the game any more. It's much more enjoyable that way, when you can just get on with it.

It's been two years, she could have dyed her hair or something.

Also, I have a weird feeling that players killed in the game do not die.
I have a feeling it was a hoax to fully test the nerve gear, however there is no way to logout anyways and no real way to communicate with the outside world. Also the nerve gear can cook their brain if forced off so that part is possible, but being killed in-game is likely not causing death. I'm suspecting it's the drama to keep people constantly playing, if it was otherwise people would be killing each other to leave the game.

u might be right, but then again I do believe they have outside world communication (in episode 1 everyone used their integrated web browser to check the news) and they did show that people were dying and stuff like that IIRC

In the internet, and especially in a world completely controlled by it's maker, information from outside world could be fabricated. Until we get a definite proof that they are really dying we can assume anything.

so you hear a guy solos a boss with dual handed swords, and you challenge him to a duel for asuna?
It's a sort of win/win situation for the commander. Without the duel Asuna would leave and there wouldn't be anything he could do about it, but now he gets a chance to not only keep Asuna but also gain Kirito. And if he loses he is just back to there he where before the duel.
Memories are meant to fade. They're designed that way for a reason.

Havoc Y U DO THIS!?

worst part is that its probably true. . . always questioning the system. . .damn it! its like all those times in animes where you find a loop hole, but noOOOoo it turns out everything was "intended" . . .but it still leaves you unsatisfied

Well gogeta, I'm picking on the possibility, it could be I'm right, but it could be that the game maker says truth.

Part of the Theory Weaving laws is: You could be right, you could be wrong.

What I think:

When someone dies, they are left in a regular coma. Once SAO has been completed (i.e. 100 floors) everyone wakes up.

Thats the type of ending I'm rooting for. XD

I hate how Kirito is always trying to hide his power level! Maybe if he had simply duel wielded from the start he wouldn't have nearly died. then again it does add some measure of suspense.
