OMG OMG a complete 180 from what I thought was going to happen. So much emotion in the episode. So excited for the next episode.

Heh. Wouldn't expect the duel to be over that fast, nor for Kirito to lose :b Wasn't really that surprising though.

It smelled fishy from the moment Kuradeel showed up, that sick bastard...

And hoo boy: the ship finally set sail~

I totally forgot to mention that after learning that that GM has a unique ability I expected this outcome, i mean, he practically has an invulnerable Shield ability, if it wasn't for that, Kirito would win. I'd say, someone here is also a beater.

Gogeta:
Actually only the old games were near this good, but for the emotes, nearly any korean modern game has like billions different emotes that actually make up the entire game.

The perfect solution would be combining RO+WoW (early)=EPIX

Just started watching SWO. Best series I've seen in awhile, I've been slacking on anime lately. Ep 10 in particular was spectacular.

I suck at waiting for more story, /checks around for english translations of the light novels.

Rarely does a show have such fantastic animation, music, voice acting, characters, fighting, and story all in one. I honestly cannot think of a single negative so far, every ep has been great in its own way, and the fighting in the last 2 eps has been freaking awesome. Of course a good romance always makes the story for me and we have that too.

Someone spoiled the ending of this arc on the nyaatorrents comments so Im a little pissed!

edit: yay baka-tsuki has a bunch of the novels translated, time to disappear for a few hrs reading :)

Someone might not have seen it yet (like me).

You're lucky though because I've read the source material.

Seriously. Spoiler tags would be nice. This is a great story so far and i'd hate for it to be ruined for someone.

it's the most recent ep, there has never been a rule for that.

There's a distinction between rules and common courtesy. Besides that, it takes about two seconds to highlight something and click the spoiler button in the "new post" UI.

I'm just gonna drop this issue here though, as I don't wanna spoil(no pun intended) the good mood that this episode has apparently brought :)

hey i know lets check the thread on the date of a new ep. lets not watch the new ep before hand because for some reason no one at all is going to be talking about it. never mind that this is a thread for a current discussion for the subject at hand. now that we got all logic in order let not talk about the most recent ep because people can't be responsible.

Same can be said for spoiling. It goes both ways. Some people are just about be derps.

Actually, this is a discussion forum, there is not a single rule that says you can't discuss older parts of the topic. Not using spoiler tags is acceptable on topics with shows that already ended or the time period after the new episode is longer than a few days.

I also seem to remember you making a similar fuss on some other sow a few weeks ago or so,so if so many people ask you to respect others, you don't rebel against them.

It takes 3 clicks to fix that post, yet you spent so much time arguing.

Guys, imagine this: Now they are awesome sword fighters with unique skills and all that, but what happens when they clear the game? They get back into their comatose body that haven't moved an inch for over 2 years. They will be lucky if they can even walk for the next few weeks in the real world.

Man that is going to suck! Worse than the worst hangover you could have. They should fuck in virtual world while they can still move around.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

I have been thinking about that since the anime started. Muscle atrophy is a bitch.

Also havent been able to get it out of my head how they are going to find each other after lol and how far away some people could live from one another. On top of all that the financial strain taking care of those comatose people must be.

I've also thought about muscle atrophy a little bit before this, and the only thing I could think of is having the victims constantly subjected to muscle stimulation through weak electrical pulses.

Figuring out if/how that could work without damaging the nerve gear... well that's another issue entirely.

I wonder if atrophy can be prevented by just massaging the muscles? although that would be... tedious (and I imagine it wouldn't be nearly as effective).

Finding each-other shouldn't be too hard unless one of them has been lying about their real name... I'm sure there's a list somewhere in the real world that's effectively a roster of everyone who's become a victim of this game.

I can't see officials denying a request for information that could lead to some victims meeting each-other in real life (in fact I think they'd promote it. Having someone to talk to who knows what you've been through is nice when you need to recover mentally after a traumatic experience). Even if requests for information about other victims would normally be denied, I'm sure an exception could be made if someone does a little cross referencing and it's discovered that they both ask for the whereabouts of one another.

To be honest though, if this issue actually comes up and serves as an obstacle to them getting to meet each-other it will be slightly... irritating. This potential problem is so apparent even after just a few seconds of thinking about the aftermath of beating the game, that I will think they are mentally retarded if they don't come up with (or for some reason they can't think of) some way to remember/meet each-other in real life (assuming they beat the game of course and that the nerve gear doesn't fry their memories or some BS like that).

I think those that get really close in the game, will tell where they live. It would be only natural to do so. You spend 2 years together or been through some situations together. You'll be quick to want to meet that person.

i accidentally read some serious spoilers on the nyaa ep10 comments im so sad, tho im going to read the novels anyway so I guess it really doesn't matter.

On the other topic of discussion, I imagine everyone is sitting in hospitals (tho how they were moved without disconnecting from their pc's and power sources is another question entirely, tho I imagine by 2022 when the game started battery tech will be nicely beyond what it is today. A decade ago a laptop that could last 10-12h on battery, or mp3 players the size of a quarter that run for days on one charge sounded impossible, and battery tech has lagged behind other tech advancements quite a bit).

Warning this contains info beyond where the anime is, do not read if you dont want to be spoiled as I unfortunately was!!
