Someone might not have seen it yet (like me).

You're lucky though because I've read the source material.

Seriously. Spoiler tags would be nice. This is a great story so far and i'd hate for it to be ruined for someone.

i accidentally read some serious spoilers on the nyaa ep10 comments im so sad, tho im going to read the novels anyway so I guess it really doesn't matter.

On the other topic of discussion, I imagine everyone is sitting in hospitals (tho how they were moved without disconnecting from their pc's and power sources is another question entirely, tho I imagine by 2022 when the game started battery tech will be nicely beyond what it is today. A decade ago a laptop that could last 10-12h on battery, or mp3 players the size of a quarter that run for days on one charge sounded impossible, and battery tech has lagged behind other tech advancements quite a bit).

Warning this contains info beyond where the anime is, do not read if you dont want to be spoiled as I unfortunately was!!

I havent read any of the LN my self or any of the spoilers but my friend and I were tossing around a few ideas on this. Since at the start they talked about how it had its own battery unit we assume they have probably all been moved to one centeral location and are recieveing medical care. Aside from the muscle needs we talked about above people would probably all be on IVs and would have to be periodicly turned to prevent bed sores. Bowel movements arent too much trouble because when you dont ingest solid foods you pretty much rarely have to poop. So at this point I assume everyones going to wake up some where other then where they went into the game.

It would be awesome if his hand didnt regenerate after being cut off, rendering his dual wielding skill useless  ;D

Comatose people muscle atrophy is being reduced by moving patients limbs regularly.
You know very little about this stuff.

Firstly, nothing stops anyone from in-game to tell where they live, if people become very close, like Kirito and Asuna it isn't strange to just share personal information, you know, friends and couples DO share information about themselves :)

After they wake up they won't probably be able to move for a bit but why is that a problem ?

You people ask strange questions, almost like you NEVER had any friends at all.

I went in to a rage when that happened, started yelleing at my monitor thinking that the hand wouldn't regenerate  (The same thing happened in something else I was reading)

We will have to wait and see why Kirito lost that fight, nothing was explained about why time slowed for the other guy allowing him to win.

No not good enough, Kirito had an open shot at him, time slows, the commander can move to defend himself but Kirito can do nothing about it.  In other anime they spends 5 minutes explaining why they are better than the other guy giving them a detailed analysis of their special move to the enemy but for this fight we got nothing.  After the battle I was sitting there with a confused look on my face and so was Kirito, I have nothing bad to say about the fight but I would like an explanation at some point.

There will be an explanation. If you're not the patient type you can click the spoiler below for an explanation.

Your looking into it too much. They didn't explain it for a very good reason.

So instead of explaining something and possibly ruining or causing issues with the story they left it alone.

I expected that, Kirito is believed to be the highest level character, and yet, his HP went down to yellow level in one hit. Not even monsters or that last boss did that in several hits.

I'm pretty sure he has reasons to be who he makes himself.

OK, thankyou for your comments, I was just objecting to CappinHoff's comment that I should know about whatever special move the commander used to beat kirito just by watching the fight. (I didn't read the spoiler, and I am going to try and hold off on reading the novel/manga untill the end on season 1 at least).

I just thought about this, but kirito should have a red or orange marker on top of him from now on right?

IIRC you get one of those when you do PvP

It's only temporary, after some time it goes back to yellow and then green. If i remember what Kirito said some episodes ago, during the beast-tamer episode, it lasts 2-3 days.

hey i know lets check the thread on the date of a new ep. lets not watch the new ep before hand because for some reason no one at all is going to be talking about it. never mind that this is a thread for a current discussion for the subject at hand. now that we got all logic in order let not talk about the most recent ep because people can't be responsible.

Sorry to revive this discussion, but since you clearly haven't bothered to read the rules at all, let me remind you:

Quote from: Board Rules
NO SPOILERS WITHOUT USING THE SPOILER TAGS.
I don't think we can emphasize this quite enough.

It REALLY fucking irritates me when people ignore that then post massive spoilers without using spoiler tags and ruin an episode for me. When I came to this thread yesterday, I had no idea the new episode of this was out. Fortunately, I saw the first few words of Andrilza's post, realised some group I wasn't aware of had obviously released it already, and clicked back without being spoiled, but it'd be nice to know that if I accidentally go to the thread for a show, unaware that Horriblesubs or someone has released a new episode, there isn't a huge chance of having said episode spoiled. Especially in the cases of extra OVAs etc that get released later where I might not realise that episode even exists before reading the thread.

Anyway, yeah, sorry for the rant. But please don't do it again, it doesn't take much effort to add spoiler tags really, and it's so much nicer for other users.

Also, re. the red/orange markers - isn't it only if you attack someone, rather than just engaging in PVP? Orange if you attack them without starting a duel first, Red if you kill them. Or something like that.

Orange ones lasts few days (attacking players) but they didn't say anything about red ones.

You don't get an orange or red marker if the other person was marked orange or red respectively.
He would only have gone orange in the Silicia SS because not all the attacking players were orange (spotters are green).

Spoiler about the real world after SAO(you have been warned):

The next two eps will be a sidestory again btw.

Didn't they say red ones were permanent? That was certainly the impression I had, at least.

Guys, imagine this: Now they are awesome sword fighters with unique skills and all that, but what happens when they clear the game? They get back into their comatose body that haven't moved an inch for over 2 years. They will be lucky if they can even walk for the next few weeks in the real world.

Man that is going to suck! Worse than the worst hangover you could have. They should fuck in virtual world while they can still move around.
I have been thinking about that since the anime started. Muscle atrophy is a bitch.

Also havent been able to get it out of my head how they are going to find each other after lol and how far away some people could live from one another. On top of all that the financial strain taking care of those comatose people must be.

Significant spoilers ahead........
