Great show overall, the first part was definitely the best because it didnt throw the stupid imouto in your face (yeah people will hate me now).
+1

I really liked the offline meeting too. Although I doubt that's how offline meeting usually go in reality. There's should at least be two or three chubby guys. :D the confrontation with Sugou was unexpected, really expected him to be fucked up and unable to do anything. And yeah, lincch01, interesting to see Kirito having to hold back because it probably wouldn't be worth killing him even though he has done so many terrible things. Although I am rather disappointed not seeing Kirito giving him an awesome of "come near us again, and I'll fucking kill you."

Great way to end the show having fun clearing the 100 levels. How much did they reach? There's a lot of characters who probably never went very high who this would then be quite fun for.

Man, gotta keep myself alive for VR gaming to appear. ;D

It was good. The concept was well thought. But I think it's just having too much recognition. Like it's overrated. But good, though.

That was MY opinion. :)

Edit: A lot of people said that the novel is better. And obviously less rushed. So I might just give it a try. Reading a lot while facing a laptop/screen is a pain in the eyes, though.

I can see why people were so critical towards the ALO arc before it started; it pretty much destroyed the very concept that SAO was built on. No grinding, no leveling, just practice your magic and you're good to go, not to mention that dying merely means nothing, as opposed to it killing you should you fail.

And did they really need to turn Asuna into a Damsel in Distress from the Badass Babe she used to be? And not one, but TWO Deus Ex Machina solutions to let Kirito win? Whatever happened to him relying on his own skills to push through (though I must admit, I loved how he eventually pwned Sugou)?

Fortunately, it also had a lot of good moments, so the show ended up on a high note (though lower than I initially thought it would be).

8/10

On episode 5, commencing. So far so good - only complain is the technical settings and customizations. I thought it would have that. Well ... gonna go watch now.

Edit -- god fuck that piece of shit guy who touched Asuna in ep. 15, and I need to go to sleep and I got a full-scale day tomorrow at both jobs. Ohh man Kirito better do something about him. COME ON !

nice cute last episode, didn't expect anything else, actually wanted something like that since he's been trying (not very hard) to save asuna the whole time so he deserves some nice fluffy moments with her.
still liked the series as a whole, but definately could have been so much better if they didnt do so much stupid shit.
I'll get round to it someday. SOMEDAY ffs

I thought the series went well. I'm satisfied with it. Right on the first few episodes I watched, time was going fast in the game and so was time in real life. Taking a note of that made me realize that he will wake up in real life and things will be different. I mean, I was prepared on that extent. When he met Asuna as well and they both had promises and spent time together, his goal literally shifted - I took account of that, too. So this "second" arc people speak about really doesn't seem to be there (you can call it a second season, but not an arc or path). I liked how it shifted after the fall of Heathcliff (was his name?) and how things progressed. That was pretty good.

I somewhat disliked that gay ass character who was controlling the second virtual world. He was annoying.

The second part was kinda underwhelming for several reasons, the tentacle scene being too short was one of them =/
Dont know what to put here

Couldn't agree anymore than that. I wanted more tentacles swarming Asuna.

Damn right - my only complaint was that it wasn't as technical as I wanted it to be. That's it.

I was actually much more irritated with the villain on Accel World rather than the villain on SAO (the blonde elf I have forgotten the name of.).. Though, in a way, the two of them have similarities.

Also, I really like your siggy. :3

I still haven't seen Accel World, but it's on my list.

And thanks! I'm driving to Dallas tomorrow to see the movies. :3

I'm sure you already know that SAO and AW are made by the same person. Lol. Just putting it right there.

Dang. You don't know how jealous I am of you. T_T I really wanna watch the movies. If only they were shown here in my country. *sigh*
