Definitely NOT the top. But whatever. I don't wanna argue about that. It's good anyways.

Nothing to be ashamed of, it was his opinion. :P Sword Art Online is one of the top series for 2012, but certainly not the top for 2012.

Is SAO based off of a game (non-story wise)? Like Phantasy Star Online? Also, each Blu-ray volume has some extra footage. It doesn't seem like the preview of next episode - it's called "Sword Art Offline" and has about 11 minutes of footage. I think it's one of those commentary extras with goofy looking characters.

I still haven't seen Accel World, but it's on my list.

And thanks! I'm driving to Dallas tomorrow to see the movies. :3
I'm sure you already know that SAO and AW are made by the same person. Lol. Just putting it right there.

Dang. You don't know how jealous I am of you. T_T I really wanna watch the movies. If only they were shown here in my country. *sigh*
Yeah, I know. I've just had so much to watch.

And damn, that's a shame. I'm lucky it's only playing 6 hours away. lol.

Nope. It's based on a novel. And yeah. I tried watching that Sword Art Offline thing. Couldn't force my self to finish it. Blah.

Well, I hope you'll fun (The way I would have if I was able to watch it. Lol) , then.

Not that, I'm saying this because most features look like they were taking from a certain game? Like, there is no magic in SAO therefore you can only use skills based on your weapons (I like this feature since I dislike magic).

I'm also just re-watching the first two episodes of the series, in BD. :P Only 3 BD volumes are out ...

Ohhhh.. okay okay.. I get what you mean now. I'm not really sure, but I don't think it is. You'll probably understand when you get to the second arc.

I saw the whole thing already and gave my thoughts on it. The best moments are when they're doing raids against bosses. Cannot fucking forget the overwhelming experience when I was raiding in WoW ... ah, living those moments to fight Hardmode bosses were EPIC!

The part where they fought the skeleton monster thingy was really exciting. But then, on the next episode, it was already nearly dead. I mean, on the previous episode, they were actually having a hard time hitting the monster, and then we just see that it is already dying on the next. All the excitement I felt for nothing.

Hmm, I can relate to that in one sense. In another sense, it was moving forward (progressing) through the story and characters. I so loved the fact SAO has the genre Coming of Age.

Well ... I'd love for the whole BD series to come out already. This is on my watch list for BD along with Fate/Zero. Must experience it in HD!

That might be true, but then it ended looking like they were rushing the series.  :-\

Also, what does BD mean? Sorry if it's a stupid question.

Have yet to watch Fate/Zero. Didn't really wanna try to watch it because I was really bored with Fate Stay Night. Was near the ending and I just decided to drop it. Dx Though my friends said that it's pretty good and it happened before Fate Stay Night did, so I might give it a try.

SAO ended good. It did feel a bit rushed, but the dude didn't have the time to go and play around. Consider the amount of days he had, what he had to do (schooling, daily life) vs. time to play in the game and the time he was restricted to in order to save her. Well, these are just my opinion. I'd like more out of the series, like side quests or something in OVAs or a spin off.

As for Fate series, the Fate/Stay Night animated version is not as good as you think it is to some people but ultimately it is damn good, thou' the VN is freaking amazingly incredible, rated as the best VN of all time on several sources and one of the best VNs out there. Fate/Zero is ... let me put it to you this way - makes SAO feel cheap. Type-Moon + ufotable = unbeatable producers. Finish Fate/Stay Night, go back to Fate/Zero and watch it (UTW released first BD Box which consists of 13 episodes, as the 12 other episodes are still in TV format). I'd like to know what you think about Fate/Zero.

P.S. - BD means Blu-ray Disc.

I was talking about the first arc being rushed. The second was just fine actually.

Basing on how popular it is, there will definitely be an upcoming second season or ova.

I didn't know Fate Stay Night came from a VN. And from the way you say it, it seems really good. Haha. I'll definitely give it a try, then. Not anytime sooner, though. Have a lot a anime lined-up. Thanks btw.

Don't really care about BD copies since I only watch through my laptop and the resolution is just 720p. xD

BD doesn't simply mean 1080p.
And also the fact that it's storage size is too huge. Px I only have 95GB left.

There are several other scenes that were censored in the TV edition. Blu-ray is in 1080p and 720p, there is also a 480p versions made by fansub groups. I'd still go with the BD over the TV editions just for those things + the clear visuals and super audio quality makes a big difference.

I stopped watching at around episode 6, I saw the first two episodes in BD and they were gorgeous.

Seriously? That's awesome. I have been watching anime for like 4-5 years online and I've been doing it all wrong. I feel so ignorant. Lol.
