I saw the whole thing already and gave my thoughts on it. The best moments are when they're doing raids against bosses. Cannot fucking forget the overwhelming experience when I was raiding in WoW ... ah, living those moments to fight Hardmode bosses were EPIC!
The part where they fought the skeleton monster thingy was really exciting. But then, on the next episode, it was already nearly dead. I mean, on the previous episode, they were actually having a hard time hitting the monster, and then we just see that it is already dying on the next. All the excitement I felt for nothing.
Hmm, I can relate to that in one sense. In another sense, it was moving forward (progressing) through the story and characters. I so loved the fact SAO has the genre Coming of Age. There's a lot I could keep going about, like the meeting before Asuna, how he met Asuna, the OP where they show Asuna sitting on the bed (go back and watch the OP), how Kirito shifted his senses and emotions towards not only the people around him but also Asuna. Another is the setting where Kirito speaks about wanting to be with Asuna within the virtual reality but Asuna shifts him away from that. Kirito was, more or less, very valuable to Asuna - he wasn't an escape route to her, he was a new hope that will unchain and give her freedom in real life. This is just a good lesson from watching this series again, at least the first two episodes gives you small hints about Asuna.
Well ... I'd love for the whole BD series to come out already. This is on my watch list for BD along with Fate/Zero. Must experience it in HD!
That might be true, but then it ended looking like they were rushing the series.
Also, what does BD mean? Sorry if it's a stupid question.
Have yet to watch Fate/Zero. Didn't really wanna try to watch it because I was really bored with Fate Stay Night. Was near the ending and I just decided to drop it. Dx Though my friends said that it's pretty good and it happened before Fate Stay Night did, so I might give it a try.
SAO ended good. It did feel a bit rushed, but the dude didn't have the time to go and play around. Consider the amount of days he had, what he had to do (schooling, daily life) vs. time to play in the game and the time he was restricted to in order to save her. Well, these are just my opinion. I'd like more out of the series, like side quests or something in OVAs or a spin off.
As for Fate series, the Fate/Stay Night animated version is not as good as you think it is to some people but ultimately it is damn good, thou' the VN is freaking amazingly incredible, rated as the best VN of all time on several sources and one of the best VNs out there. Fate/Zero is ... let me put it to you this way - makes SAO feel cheap. Type-Moon + ufotable = unbeatable producers. Finish Fate/Stay Night, go back to Fate/Zero and watch it (UTW released first BD Box which consists of 13 episodes, as the 12 other episodes are still in TV format). I'd like to know what you think about Fate/Zero.
P.S. - BD means Blu-ray Disc.
