Actually in most anime the man doesn't end up at all. . . now of the few animes that the MC has balls and takes a pick, yeah I'll agree with you, but on those other ones that he doesnt make that decision, they always imply that he loves his childhood friend. . .

^ now that I think of it, Anime's should have more of these clear selections, where the guy totally turns down other girl to be with the other, leaving the girl who was turned down all teary and stuff xD

It's not always about having the balls. Most anime's start out with the males childhood friend loving him, then he meets another girl. He sorta likes his friend, but this other girl starts to grow on him. In the end he picks the new girl. Look at all the anime involving a childhood friend and a new girl, most end up with the new girl. Very very rarely does he actually pick his childhood friend.

Remove the stupid "if he had balls to make a decision" logic. That doesn't apply when looking at who they pick. I mean I can make a list of those anime and you'll see it's not as close as you think.

Wow KoiChoco is pretty good. On the last episode now but well, it is still downloading. Vol. 7 BD has episode 13 bundled. It released about a week ago. Can't wait for it to be finished!
