Are You Getting an Arts Degree?

Because apparently if you are, your degree is a complete joke. Maybe not, maybe everyone that goes to my school and is getting one is superduper smart or just gets bad grades because usually, weekends here start on Wednesday. It's kicked off by our student pub having a special then continued until Sunday by the clubs in town.

This week however appears to be special, because it's a Monday, and there were drunk people yelling outside starting at 3PM. It's been 2 hours at this point, still going strong. Oh you don't have labs at 6PM? I am happy for you, but do you not have homework, studying or other prep? Or do you just fucking care?

Excuse my rant. Maybe you are trying to do something with your life like become a Lawyer or get an MBA or something else useful. Or maybe you just plan on working a dead end job for the rest of your life.

Yes I am, while I slam my face into work trying to get my future sorted out people act like they dgaf.

Which I guess shouldn't really make me upset, but when it interferes with me getting things done, it really does.

OnT: No, I am not. I've never understood why one would go for the Arts Degree, when it is the one subject you learn better at home by yourself (programming languages may fit this category as well), other than laziness.

Languages you can learn on your own, but lots of places want you to have a Comp-Sci degree because it gives other skills. Just like to become an interpreter they want you to have a degree in at least one language.

And it was too much rage to be contained in a post, it needed a topic.

Like honestly, it's only slightly sunny out, it's not fucking summer yet, so it's NOT justified wearing a bikini, you're just trying too hard then.
