Are You Getting an Arts Degree?
Nikkoru:
There aren't many ambitious career paths open to anyone with just a Bachelor's degree anymore, regardless if its Arts or Sciences I'm sorry to say. Teaching and Social work require further training as well.
I have two bachelor degrees, they aren't worthless by any means, but I would've had to work several years before I got near the salary I earn now. Which is relatively modest to begin with.

Oh I know, I'm not just getting a Science degree.
I have to disagree though, getting a computer science degree gets you a steady, and quite high, starting wage. Of course that might go down as more people figure that out. Double majoring is an option, however a Grad School or some sort, be it Law, Business or whatever research topic you want to, is an option.

I'm sure it remains a closely guarded secret.
The labour market is precarious now even for white collar workers with conventionally steady jobs - and its degrading every year.
Regardless of their futures or interests, is it not part of youth to enjoy the fleeting experiences before the weight of the world presses upon them? You don't have to treat your academics flippantly, but you should find time to relax and socialize as well.
Though I would admit drunk people are annoying generally, as someone who doesn't drink alcohol and participates in social events with people ages 17+ I'm well aware. The same goes for stoners, who I can't share a room with.
