How to play hi10p videos on single core cpu

Just curious if my cpu is in some way able to play hi10p.  My cpu is an Intel Celeron D 3.20 GHz, My graphic card is a Nvidia GeForce GT 220, and I have 2 gigs of ram.  I have tried alot of the "How to play Hi10p on a single core cpu" guides but they have all failed.  I use Windows media player classic with K-lite codec pack but i have also tried using the cccp codec pack as well but still no luck.  I've tried VLC player out of desperation but that also did not work.  I really want to be able to play 10p cause alot of places and fansubs are starting to weed out 8bit videos.  I can't afford a new computer or cpu right now cause i have a crappy job that barely gets me by with bills and essentials as it is, so i'm hoping that it isn't my cpu which i fear it might be.  Any help or suggestions will be awesome, i would try the conversion from 10bit to 8bit but from what i heard that can take a while per video and time is essential to me.  Thanks in advance.

Update your Videocard Driver before you do anything else.

Uninstall all third party codecs and players. Install CCCP's latest release. Open up Media Player Classic - Check the box for Process Priority above Normal. Then go to View > Options > Output and select Haali Renderer. Go under Playback and the four boxes under Open Settings should all be checked. Once your done, close down the player then try to open up any 480p/720p 10-bit file. See if that helps. They should work for 8-bit.

Yeah vuzedome the video plays but really laggy, the subtitles are offsync and the video goes in real slow motion.  I already updated my video card drivers when i read the first guide i tried tatsujin, but i'll try the cccp thing the way you said real quick and see if that helps, i'll let you know if it does.

I tried it and its still lagging Tatsujin, still plays 8bit videos fine but 10bit still lags.

Duki3003 edit: don't double post.

If no one else is using your computer while you're asleep, or not using it, you can convert videos while you're not using it, some converters will even shut down your computer when finished.
