Well, that's your choice, but r5125 should be more stable than r4800 (which is also an svn build). It's also generally faster, and pretty much all games are more likely to work better. Even if you still don't want to use the latest svn build despite that, then at the very least you should update to the latest stable release, v0.9.8. It *should* solve your problem, and it will at the least improve performance..

plus you could always have both of them via making a replica folder of the older version and replacing one with the newer version.

Well, since you just download a zip file and extract it somewhere, yes you could. It's probably better not to copy/paste it over the old version anyway. Download it, extract it somewhere else, try it and if it doesn't work, just carry on using the old one again. It's not like you need to do much configuration to get the settings right before you use it, and it's easy enough to copy cheats/save states/etc over.
