An 8-pound burger. Hmn. A quarter pounder can already smash my mush bag. How 'bout an 8-pound burger? I can just imagine eating the 5-pound dumbbell I'm lifting to lose the baby fats domiciled 'round my arms. My stomach will die. :'(
EDIT after reading some of the posts:
The key to good health is moderation; there's actually no such thing as "Eating high-calorie food alone can quicken my existence." Almost all of the diseases known/unknown to man are caused by multiple factors. In Care Plans, they are called "Complex Factors."
And I'd have to agree with the genes thingy. According to a certain book I have read, genes is a major factor in determining the life span of a person--his health. One of the many things that is controlled by our genes is the discrimination and regulation of the resident floras inside our body, which contributes to metabolism. For example, some people are obese because they have a "slower" metabolism. Most of the nutrients they take in cannot be converted to energy. This will lead to the deposition of adipose tissues 'round the connective tissues, which obviously makes people fat and unhealthy. Some people also have a more active proto-oncogenes, which predisposes them to cancer and stuffs.
In conclusion, most of what you people have said are correct. It's just that, some people are more susceptible than others; and some may be affected by certain stuffs while others may not. Like, when I was still in college, I read a book that said there are people who cannot be affected by HIV--they are just plain immune to it--due to the absence of a certain receptor on the surface of the CD4. And also, like a specific diet is effective to someone but not to another person. No two people are completely the same.
