It starts off really slow, and actually quite boring.

But gets much better as you get further into it. At around 20-25 things pick up, then its really fun 50-60, and end game.

Most people played a beta got to level 10 or 15 and decided it was boring. Can't blame anyone for that because its true. Thats the games biggest downfall.

But if you put the time into it, it does get very fun and entertaining.

I think it will depend on the person. If the person is burned out from Wow or one of its newer clones Rift Star Wars etc then chances are they are going to be bored unless they enjoy the combat. If you dont like the combat you probably wont like the game. The combat is the core of the game. The questing and stuff is just like wow and every other mmo in the last 5 years its boring or whatever just used as a way to level. Personally I didnt mind questing because it was almost all kill xx mob quests which are the only ones I like anyway. I like the game and plan to get it at release but I like the combat. My brothers are both active wow players dont want to play it. One didnt like the combat and the other didnt like that there is no real pet class. I will be playing on the NA servers at release I already preordered. My advice is this. If you havent tried it yet try the open beta in 2 weeks. If you like the combat than you should buy the game. The combat only gets more fun as you level. If you cant stand the combat then I dont think questing and whatever else is in the game will be enough to hold your interest.

been playing it solidly since it's pre-order event (lvl 26 elin archer), it's great  ;D cb was kind of meh, didn't get to keep anything so really didn't bother with it. now that you get to keep everything for launch, a lot more fun. combat system rocks, soloing bams (Big Ass Monsters) is edge of your seat kind of thing. one wrong move and you could be paste. animation details in everything, landscape details, skills, glyphs that modify skills, even basic attacks.

and no auto attack or auto target. pots have a 60 sec cd so you can't just gulp pots to stay alive everything relies on you knowing how to move, dodge and when to attack without leaving yourself open. huge world, variety, graphically beautiful and fun to play.

the downside is en masse and their westernization schemes...but might be able to live with that.

Anyone with K-Tera or J-Tera experience?

I'm looking at the endgame and right now, it looks like 6 dungeons, guild vs guild pvp and zone invasions? Is that it? Pretty sparse if you ask me.

Been playing a bit of beta and I gotta say, its pretty fun. I have not decided if I am going to pre-order it or not yet since in my experience, when you jump on a game like this when it first comes out there are still a handful of kinds to work out, but meh... I will likely end up buying the game anyway.

The westernization is not quite as bad as I had expected with a few exceptions with certain armor schemes, but it appears you can get costumes so you dont have to see some of the rather ugly outfits.
