IDing anime from memory
« on: March 16, 2012, 12:49:33 AM »
This has been bugging me all day. It's been a while since I've seen this anime. Here are the things I remember about it:

1. Sea splitting in half to reveal a hidden temple/dungeon
2. Solving a riddle to get the sea to split in half
3. A guy sticking his hands in boiling water to sterilize them to save a guy from poisoning(I think)
4. One of the enemies uses bats for communication and one of them IS a bat-like creature

Sorry if it's too vague, but that's all I can remember for now. I will add more as I think of them. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have an idea of when it was made? Like, was it cel-drawn or digitally animated? The sea-splitting thing sounds familiar to me, but I think it was a relatively common thing in 90's fantasy series so it might be a false positive.

I know this one! it`s definetly Rurouni Kenshin (also called Samurai X). that was one of the final arcs. The guy`s who puts his hands in boiling water is Yahiko. I watched this anime recently so i remember all the details. ;)

Yeah that was definitely in Season 3 of Rurouni Kenshin during the so called "Religion Arc". The one season that many anime fans disliked (even though I personally liked it myself).
There's nothing here, because I'm too lazy to put something here.
