HD MKV TV PLAYER?
WIRLYWIRLY:
Oo...just checked back, and turns out ive HardSubbed multiple 10bit animes :D I dont watch on my computer anyways (Since sound card doesn't work -.-) so 10bit & 8bit doesn't concern me :) But...the 10bit videos i HardSubbed DO play on my PS3, but the others don't... I store my anime on my 1tb PS3 HDD, since computer only has 160gb...i need to upgrade...but i just realized that all the 10bit videos i converted with megui that i have stored on my PS3 are playable from the PS3, but the others all say Corrupted Data...I use the same process for all...weird...

Well you have a PS3 already so I don't see a reason to get another media player.
If you have a fairly capable PC and good network set up than why not go for PS3mediaserver?

Conversion speed sucks on PS3MediaServer (or might be my pc)...it buffers like hell...bad enough its basically unwatchable...I only use it to transfer files to ps3...then when i feel like watching them, copy to usb sata, then connect to media player
P.S
This thread is old, I already bought the media player i mentioned above...works great, has played all media ive tried (even the MKV's ive downloaded from this site)...but it doesnt show styled subs...just regular subs...but you can change between 7 or so different colors...but since i hardsub all the MKV's into Mp4 containers, i dont need that...but if your on a low budget, i would highly recommend it...very capable player, just as good as the 100$+ ones in my opinion...
