Description: The story centers around five Japanese high school students who are too young to be called adults, but who no longer think of themselves as children. Sakai Wakana once took music lessons, but she withdrew from music after losing her mother. Miyamoto Konatsu is a positive-thinking girl who loves singing and spends time after school at the vocal music club. Okita Sawa is a spirited archery club member who dreams of becoming a horse rider. Tanaka Daichi is a chronically late badminton team member who lives with his college student sister. Wiin just transfered into Wakana's class after 12 years abroad in Australia. Music brings Wakana, Konatsu, Sawa and the others together into an ensemble during their last summer in high school.

Progressive Animation Works next masterpiece for Summer of 2012. The Character Designer and Chief Animation Direction is done by Sekiguchi Kanami famously known for Hikaru no Go, Canaan, True Tears (love how she did those pupils and eye-lids) and her best work-yet done on Hana-Saku Iroha. Music is being handled by Hamaguchi Shirou who did an excellent job on Hana-Saku Iroha, Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku and most notable on-going series One Piece.

I still have no idea what this show is, but the mere fact it's from PA Works is enough to have me drooling with anticipation. Hanasaku Iroha was wonderful, not to mention the superb animation work they did on Angel Beats.

That said, if it was some mahou shoujo anime or something I probably wouldn't watch it anyway. But "Slice of Life, Daily Life, Music" sounds very promising. Hopefully they're actually accurate, and not just someone's guess - since I can't see where those tags came from.

O, thank you! -eats it-

From what I've gathered, it is a Slice of Life anime and some Daily Life. The music is a guess, but a good guess. Take a look at the Official site - look at the background theme behind the Official Title. If you look at the first picture from the Fanservice Pictures I posted, the female character is practicing her singing voice or doing an actual singing.

Tari Tari PV #1. Just ... wow, ... -melts-

Edit -- Also, I was right on track: The story centers around five Japanese high school students who are too young to be called adults, but who no longer think of themselves as children. Music brings Wakana, Konatsu, Sawa and the others together into an ensemble during their last summer in high school.

Edit 2 -- This premiers in July of this year. See guys, my animu not very long from coming!

It was pretty much a given coming from PA Works anyway, but I'm glad to see the animation looks every bit as good as I'd hoped. I'm really, really looking forward to this series.

ALL RIGHT! This is more like it. I knew this was going to be good. I'd been waiting for something cute and slow-paced to fill the hole Iroha left... and this is clearly it. That first episode alone had more story two it than both seasons of K-ON! combined.

Impossible to not compared it to Iroha because they look pretty much the same, show looks amazing but didnt get hooked like I did with the first episode of Iroha so will see how it turns out.
Dont know what to put here
