liked the outcome, and I liked the fast pace TBH I thought this would be the last episode. . .(like the whole thing would lead to the recital)

Yeah, it felt really fast, but then again, they gonna have it uphill from now on. Which means more great drama and more fun. I liked how she started singing and relaxed, considering her previous attempt, and her bad habit when she gets nervous. Incredible progress :)

Yup yup! That's the Japanese spirit! :D

Anyways I kept laughing all the time. Like when the guy introduced himself, or said "Thank you" in a very traditional way I fell down from the chair :D Or the epic fail with sukiyaki.

And nice music. Really nice songs. I wonder when I'll get my hands on them :)

This episode was pretty cool, at the ending when the geezers played in was pretty funny :)

At least in every episode there is a song sang, oh and the cute swimsuit she had, adorable :)

Completely agreed with this. And I just can't get enough of this anime. It's so sweet and makes me smile all the time. Though I have a feeling there will be some kind of a big drama in Sakai's life.

Songs are really beautiful. Can't wait until i'll get the full versions of all of them :)

^ I think the Spanish guy was an acquaintance of Sakai's mother. Maybe he knew Sakai as a kid.

That's my guess as well. I'm sure he's interested in her for more than just her good looks, especially since he said he had something important to tell her.

Or maybe PA.Works found out about Tiyler and added this guy for lolz :D

On serious matter, he probably saw her a while ago during some recital and remembered her voice. Judging by his attire and overall style I'd say he is related with some sort of art, perhaps he is a professional vocalist in an opera or something, certainly being italian (I think) does seem to hint that way.

WHAT.
I haven't watched the third episode yet, but the first two set the pace to a fast jog. It's got me interested enough to continue watching, but it doesn't seem exceptional.

Shit I'm Watching | Quite frankly, I don't give a fuck.

i thought he was italian at first  (cause of the pig and truffles :P ) but he was speaking spanish, so I assume he is spanish (his attire fits spanish wardrobe as well)

but yeah, he prolly knows her mother. and I'm curious as to why everyone is expecting something out of her. . .just because of her mother. . .
I guess her mother change everyone's life thru music or something?

They expect a lot from her, because like her mother, she has a powerful voice. She and the Main Girl are probably the cutest.

Yeah Miyamoto is just soooo cute. I like her voice a lot. I'd love to see Sakai and Miyamoto singing a duet. That would be nice.

For once, they show girls in bikinis looking all cute and neat instead of all sexy and hot.

Me gusta, very mucho.

Anyways this show gets a lot of love from me.

5/5

I want to listen Sakai singing. I'm pretty sure she'll have an amazing voice.

This show is really a very interesting one.

I just want more songs))) mooooooooooore!!!!! :D

Edit: Now I'm getting really mad. Why the hell is Sakai acting that way? I can see she feels guilty that she was such a selfish kid, and said many bad thing to her mother. But come on, you can't ran away from your memories, you can't ran away from your feelings.

I really believe if she wants to feel better she must sing, she must start singing again.

And giving away the piano!? That was the stupidest thing to do. She will regret that greatly.

I thought she would change her mind about singing after meeting those grandpas who knew her mother, and reading that letter. But she's even worse now.

What does she try to acquire by running away from herself all the time?! I mean that wouldn't make her mother happy. That woman connected all her life with music, she said she wanted to sing all the time, when she's healthy or when she's ill. And Sakai is running away from her mother's dream, from her own dream.

I hope Miyamoto will be able to change her.

I can't really blame her, some people get rid of items because of the memories or guilt they bring back.

No one can help her if she doesn't want any, I'm pretty sure she will face it all herself and come out a new person.

The scene on the stairs with the rejection of the big strawberry cake is a huge hint for her friends.

SHE REFUSED A CAKE !
WITH A STRAWBERRY !
CALL THE POLICE !

I really thought she was gonna change her mind before the piano was gone. . .
TBH I thought she was gonna break down and cry when she saw the empty room. . .
I personally think shes coping with the loss of her mother the wrong way (trying to forget her)
I lost a friend and I remember him and try to keep as many mementos as I can, think of happy memories, not that he's not here anymore (or her mom in this case)

But you know ?
She's a spitting image of her mom, she should get rid of that face as well :D

Honestly, the little jokes they make here are funny :)

I love this show a lot, it's pushing forward, not taking breaks.

Wakana is pushing herself way too hard, trying to forget her mother in any possible way. She's eve distancing herself from her friends, because singing reminds her of her mother. I wish her father took a more assertive role in this. He seems a bit too mellow and doesn't really argue against his own daughter.

Yes, coping with the loss of a loved one ain't easy, but I too remember them from the good times I spent with them, not push my memories of them away from me.

I can see this reaching a point where Wakana can't push her memories any further away and they catch up to her. And then, she'll truly break down and (slowly) realize what she's been missing from her life.
