Just finished watching Claymore...
i_am_otep:
I saw the anime first, so the ending is actually pretty okay for me...
Then I read the manga and figured how mediocre it actually is.
It's been a while since I saw the anime, so I can't remember for sure..
Except for the ending, isn't it quite faithful to the manga?
A full remake is a waste of time IMO.
Unlike FMA, it's only the ending that deviated from the original.
Instead, another way to start a second season can be something along the lines of..
"That was only wishful thinking, a dream. This is actually what heppened..."
With that said, however, I doubt we'll ever see more Claymore...
It's been too long of a break already..

Its never to long of a break. Search Berserk its been more than 10 years since that anime came out and its being rebooted. Hunter x Hunter been away for like 7 or 8 unless you exclude the ovas then it would be 10 years so if the fan base is big enough it will come back.
Osmo:
Remake would be pointless.
I agree that the end of the anime was a let down, so ive started reading the manga because of it.
But if they were to make a season two then they should stick to the storyline they created in the anime, i.e priscilla survives and isley takes her away vowing to bring her to her full strength, so the final fight is just prosponed, and they can carry out a new storyline or steer it back to the manga. It was released in 2007 its now 2012.
Also, looking back at the 'level' design or scenery setting i realize it is quite impressive and i liked it, though the cities could have been abit more like berserk.
Hadouken:
But what if you don't like reading manga?
It'd be nice if this series got a reboot.
