Medium Hub in Your Life
« on: March 30, 2012, 06:53:41 AM »
Everyday, you're checking on something important. It is very important. It can be anything in your life. No limit and how much you want to share with us, it can be in order of priority or out of order - just as long as it's something your checking to make sure, for an update, or waiting on something, etc. It can be a short term, long term or permanent hub.

Typically, when I wake up it's:
  • Time
  • Phone
  • Cereal(usually none)
  • Bathroom availability
Tomorrow, I suppose today now, being Friday, after class it's typically:
  • Phone(texts/time)
  • Desire for alcohol consumption
  • If needed, location of friends' cars
I'm a pretty simple person sometimes.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

In the evenings its internet time again, and then I get updated on the news, forums, maybe fb im in the mood. And I always check this buy sell site for furniture for our home, we still need alot of things for our house. And ofc wordfeud again before I go to bed:P

Every sunday I read Postsecret, Oglaf and Dearphotograph, its a routine I have had for a couple of years now.
The problem with the world is that the intelligent  people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

First thing in the morning, it's:

  • Check the time
  • Turn on the local news
  • Skim msnbc.com, Facebook, and bakabt

Throughout the day at work, I'm constantly checking:

  • Outlook for new emails
  • My company's intranet web-based application for new work assignments

When I get home, I typically check my phone once or twice in the evening for messages or missed calls, since I almost always keep it on silent mode.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

1. Wake up. Somehow. Sit for a while, trying to remember who am I, where am I and what planet is it.
2. (if step 1. is ssuccesfull) Go make coffee.
3. Bathroom.
4. Browse various random webs, check various forums and emails while drinking the coffee.
5. Play a game I'm currently interested in for some time.
6. Continue with whatever is on my agenda that day.

In the morning:
1st. Make sure that I don't oversleep.
2nd. Check the traffic tables on local transport.
3rd. What ever my remaining time allows.

Generally:
Check gmail.
Check contents of fridge, and make something out of them.
Check the state of clothes, wash if needed.
Check assignment due dates and do the shit I need to do.

Everything else isn't really a routine, I just do it when I need to do it or if I'm bored and want a change.

Wake up and get newspaper, throw most of it aside and do the crossword while drinking coffee. Then check forums and outlook email and gmail. Go to work or whatever I may be doing that day, log into and mostly idle a few IRC channels once at work and maybe scan forums again. Get home and pick up the rest of the newspaper that I had previously tossed aside and read. Then check manga-updates and tokyo-toshokan for new releases.

Actually I check random forums a lot since its easy to do from my phone any time I have a few minutes to spare.

So yea, basically that outlines the things I check/do every day.
