Can't say anything about the anime but the ChäoS;HEAd visual novel was really good.

And Robotics;Notes begins with a world divergence of 1.048596 (Steins;Gate reference).

I can't say much about this new series yet because the story isn't really known yet. But I like the main female character Senomiya Akiho but Yashio Kaito misses something crazy like Okabe or Takumi, don't know if that is good or not.
Totally forgot that I checked the divergence number when it showed and matched, thanks for reminding. I guess we've to say all three series happen in the same universe, but I find it hard to fit Chaos with the other two, or maybe I'm saying that because I only saw the anime which I'm pretty sure had too little information compared to the original novel.

It was a great first episode, another series with massive potential. The lead girl is hilarious. Definitely the driving force of the series. The main guy is way too laid back for the role.

This quickly became the anime that I'm looking forward to the most already. Can't really put my finger on why... could be the extremely awesome animation and complete lack of stupidity in a sci-fi/laid back show (so far lol, we did see that still unknown character in the last minute of ep 1).

So, do you suppose she is related to our beloved Mad Scientist?

This was as entertaining a go nowhere episode as I can remember. Even though all it seemed to do was set the stage, the actions of our protagonist were so lively, that it was fun to watch her. It also helps that it was visually engaging. I couldn't help trying to look over his shoulder as he is playing Kill Ballad. That was a more detailed look than was the 'reality' of the scene. Fascinating! BOt not overly important. Just was something to look at and wonder.

I still don't quite get why they showed us that alien-like character at the end of the first episode. We're 3 episodes later and still nothing on the matter... But this show remains my favorite one this season, love everything about it.

I guess the comment of the big sister might be related to it. The most obvious guess is that the three have a past with whatever that person (of ep1) represents.

That's the impression I got from her too. Also, this show does not look like the love triangle+ type anyways.

So the conspiracy theories have moved from SERN (CERN) to NASA.

But I liked this episode and they explained some more about the AI.

Well now we know what "saving the world" means here, though it's hard to guess how having a piloted robot will save them if that's the scale of the danger they're facing.

After that last episode (7)... my thoughts have me believing that this might end up even better than Steins;Gate (which sounds blasphemous, I know). I'm just completely blown away by the story at this point. And Furugoori just might be the greatest character of all time. Wow, she is funny is hell!

If this show wasn't set in the near future I'd say it's something to do with the Mayan prophecy of the end of the world this year.

Episode 8.

Felt a bit of a letdown since I was expecting a link between the sun and the JAXA robot making there, as far-fetched as it may sound.

The quest for report 2 was funny, though if you look closer at it the fighting game and go-kart parts seemed to be some sort of filtering for those who have good reaction times and other skills.

The "Committee of 300" was also mentioned in the Chaos;Head novel and that they had some plans but I don't remember what, guess it's still the same plans mentioned here, the committee was a minor detail at the time to the point that I don't think the (fail) anime adaptation bothered with it. Hope they show us more of it in this show.

The Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate Visual Novels both relate "The Committee of 300" back to CERN, and their plans to take over the world, etc. Also, in the last episode, the girl who comes from JAXA to take away the robotics club members is Mr.Braun's daughter, Nae, from Steins;Gate. Already a solid connection between the two. It freaked me out when I first heard her name. Also, the song "Kagome Kagome" was the ringtone used in Chaos;Head when the "real" Takumi calls the fake Takumi throughout the VN. Which kind of gives me the impression that maybe Takumi was the one to create Airi and is directing our main character in Robotics;Notes. Lots of mystery, lots of references. Me likey.
